Thanks for the update on the weather Dr Sharpe. Is the West End nest the one that is shown in the DVD where you and Dave Garcelon hiked up that steep mountain to get to it?

That was the Two Harbors nest.

Here's the video of dad's visit. Good thing Cumbrian got the fly in and great action shots. He pretty much just sat there for me.

OK you guys, I'm HOME!!! The trip was fantastic, couldn't have been better. And yes, we were met on the dock by Peter Sharpe and Dave. Peter had set up a spotting scope so we could view K-10 up close and personal, and we could see K-26 in the distance. All this from the moment we stepped onto the island.
The weather was grand, not too foggy but not to hot either. Lots of sun and a light breeze, perfect for hiking. We missed you all so much. It was so wonderful meeting everyone, putting names to faces. It was as if we were meeting old friends, and in truth I guess we reallly were. Enough out of me. I'm going to work on the photos. More to come.

Thanks Cumbrian and Hula for keeping us up to date on the nests. Wouldn't have wanted to miss a thing, and thanks to you we didn't!!
