Hey Harpo forgot to thank you for those boy scout pics. They looked like they had a great time. This past spring on a hike through our East Bay Regional Park system at Castle Rock, a group of scouts were also with us and they so graciously helped us over the streams on our way to visit the peregrine falcon nests. They truly followed the boy scout motto!
Thanks I loved it when my son was a scout, if only for a brief time.

We try to get them to live by that law - not always easy!!

I think I see the stick - it's turned the other way now! Who did that? Did I miss something earlier today - darn it!!

The stick is there I think the lighting this time of day makes it more difficult. It had "rolled" down a bit from where it was. Hopefully Dad will secure it for future use. ;)

Thanks Ojai Hikers......we actually spotted her in the Where are you watching from thread and she has been welcomed by Denny, Debi and myself........at present........

Hopefully she will head over to the 'Bio' thread and we will get to know her a little better. That's right isn't it Paula??? :D

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Today in the mail, I received not one but TWO autographed pictures of Dr Sharpe! One was him with Pimu and the other was that world famous shot of him up at the nest bringing an eaglet down for banding! Both are 8x10! I showed Woody and he told me to get some nice frames and get them hung up right away!!!! Woohooooo! Thank you so much Dr Sharpe! These will be framed and cherished right along with the picture of you holding up the Hello Hulabird sign from yesterday!

Announcement number 2:

The bedrom set that would not die is now living at the city dump! YESSSSS. Woody filled up the truck this AM and got it out of our lives for good. Then he came back and filled the truck up again to overflowing with stuff he took to the Goodwill. OMG, I can't believe we're finally getting our garage back.

Great shots today Cumbrian!
