And not only that, we should email her our BIOs as well so she doesn't have to dig so deep.

Cumbrians what a wonderful idea!!!

It was a short clip of him on National Geographic's Most Astounding Moments. It featured our beloved dangling from the helicopter delivering precious cargo to the nest. Oh man, I wish he didn't have to do that. The narrator was scaring me and I hope he was being overly dramatic. I've got it on TIVO and if you email me, I'll send it on. Real name and address. My PM folder is close to full so please email.

Wow!!!  I think it's a fun idea, but WOW, what an undertaking!  And Hulabird thinks I"M organized?  :o   Wondering about how you could do it to keep it at least somewhat alphabetized as we add people.

At the moment I have the members in A-B...C-D...E-F...G-H...I-J...K-L...M-N...O-P...R-S...T-Z.

That is also why I thought it should be posted somewhere where there is not so much 'traffic'.

Bea...at the moment I have found a lot of photos and can add more from the trip photos too. I will post a list of the names of those I already have later.......The main concern I have is that I require
permission/approval to use people's photos already posted and also the people who took photos on Sunday and posted them I need their OK to use them too as I would have to put them all through Photobucket to post onto the forum.

The only way I can see this working is at the end of the day or start of the day we BUMP the threads up in alphabetical order so at least it starts out ok.

I can visualise it in my mind BUT it will be a lot of work AND also the other members who are 'missing' will have to submit a photo to be included.

Ok, we are back and Roy thoroughly enjoyed his brekkie!

Eagle Duo/Jann superb shots...........Have they brought more sticks/twigs in? The nest looks more cluttered than it was on Sunday.

Although all three birds visited the nest on Sunday there was only ever Two max at one time..At one point Roy got really excited and thought all three were there......the Cam had just refreshed after being frozen for 5 mins and it did look like there were three white heads........but on closer inspection we saw it was the breeze that was blowing one of the eagle's feathers so it did look like there were three birds!

Soooooooo.....this is what I am working on and trying to figure out how to do this. We had a number of photos already posted of members.....NOW we have a lot more.BUT there are still some members who are missing.

I have being going through various threads....I must be a glutton for punishment!.....and got the idea of setting up a new thread...possibly over where we put the Cruzisms as it doesn't get sooo busy over there.....may have to check with Cathy VCOE too before starting this......ARE YOU CURIOUS YET?.............The A to Z of the A-49 Cruzers.......I would start at the back and work forward to A so that when I got finished it would all be in Alphabetical order....to start with anyway...and post everyone's photo and part of their Bio, if they have submitted one, so that when we need to figure out, and especially for the new people, who is who, we could just look under say... H for Hulabird...it will all be indexed by our forum names, and the photograph of Debi will be there plus a brief bio about her.

So what do you think???? Does this sound feasible?...is it something that you would want to see on the forum?

Will you never cease to amaze. You are without a doubt the most generous, caring, giving people. Well, you are from Scottish heritage so of course you would be. I love those Scots!! This is the greatest idea yet. It would be really neat if we could access this info in an organized manner.

Also Roy, that work you did on the photo adding people is awesome. How do you do that!!! Very impressive.

Look at Rogrnnr2 trying to tip-talon in here without saying hi. OK bub, you are exposed. You've been a member since the 2nd day of the forum's existance and not a single post. What's the story Maury? I successfully outed Manu244 last night. Let's see what I can do with the rest of these people who need us to mantle them. I'm watching the who's logged in list and I WILL catch you. Come on in. We love newbies. There is no cliche. Just join in and you will immediately be mantled into the group!

Cumbrian: Fantastic idea - sometimes I go crazy flitting around looking for info and connections! Anything we can do to help - yell!

I've spent 25 years teaching climbing/rappelling thru a confidence course program of the boy scouts - loved it - but to hang under that helicopter - I'd give that a whirl for sure!! If they ever need a fill in - I'm there! (at least one time) B)

OR maybe if it's 2 eggs - it could be a tandem "fly" - me and Dr. Sharpe - hmmmm - even better! :P

HB: do you fly!? Maybe we could volunteer together to deliver the precious eggs! That would be awesome and a better way to see the nest than that hike/climb - we just hang on .........................

Looks like a spotlight on the nest with all the shadows behind! Hellllooooooo - we'd like a quick visit ...............

Cumbrian/Roy - I think your idea is wonderful. Both of you are so generous with your time as this project will take lots of work. It would be a pleasure to put the name and photo together with a short bio for all of us "cruzies". Both of you are amazing and I appreciate your ideas and efforts. Hope one day we can meet on SC and share this memorable experience.
