Here's the video of the raven nestspection this morning. They looked so pretty in the sunlight with their wings so black and shiny they looked purple. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=74...120878587&hl=en Did you notice the stolen stick at the end? Maybe he took it to match the colors for future upgrades. |

Another raven on the nest right now Edited: He's gone now. Did a lot of calling and preening. I took video but not really worth processing. It was kind of hard to see him in the current light anyway. |

Ozzie, well, Island of the Blue Dolphins is still in print in case you lose the old one. The other book, Diary of a Sea Captain's Wife. has about 40 black and white photos of different harbors and one photo shows the watchman's hut on the hill, taken from the Prisoner's Harbor slough.. the hut is where I took my blue jay picture and where we had our first stop in hike. also interesting is a shot of four cabins on the first point of Pelican's Bay Point.. All gone and overgrown now. Lots of history to catch up on. It's nice to see the progress of going backwards with the islands, taking things down and letting the island restore itself. |

Just got on and playing catch up. Harpo - take Peppermint Patti up on her chamber pot offer or install an outhouse. Messier but lots less trouble and much less dollars. Has anyone mentioned the fact that we have things scattered all over this forum? Is it possible to add a heading for the trip (titled and dated so other trips can be added)? I have seen write-ups and pictures in so many different places and I am afraid I may have missed some. Bee

This is a horrible bald eagle story and I'm warning you ahead of time. It isn't a joke one like the crocodile one from before. http://www.fedwaymirror.com/portals-code/l...id=756857&more= |

I'm sticking with the new toilet - after all I had to go thru to get it! But here's the next chapter - the idiot at the store gave me the wrong seat! Yup I paid $48 for standard lid! So back to "talk" with them again Fri AM!!! My hubby is now afraid to go with me.... So now it's sitting in my living room and it may just stay there until it's installed - hopefully soon!!! Now I have plenty of seating for visitors - Yes, I'm afraid I might have missed some of the trip info with it kind of being here and there!! I think it was the excitement of the moment! I'm going to try to make time this weekend a comb thru eveything and save some of it out to a file! edit: oh yeah - I didn't get any emails from Darrell either...

The stories are supposed to be in the Cruzneyland threas under onservations and the pictures in the pictures thread under Cruzneyland. I've been trying to corral them but if anybody sees anything in any other place, can you PM the person and ask them to move it. And if they don't, can you copy and paste it to the proper place for them giving proper credits? The trip archive is way to important to lose. Thank you, Yo Momma |
