The last couple of years Karen (KLJinUSA) has asked for her gifts to be made to charity and all her gifts to family members (except the niece) were to her nominated charity. It is a selfless and fantastic idea, altho I've bought most of my gifts for family members already.
Ozzie

Ozzie is right. I don't need any more stuff and I want people to donate their gift ideas to my non-profit interests. And I don't want to buy stuff that people won't use or want. Last year, I made a sizeable donation to Habitat for Humanity for Hurricane Katrina (I made the President's List!), but from now on, it's IWS for me. I'm so happy to find an organization that is localized to the Channel Islands.

I'm sorry, Darrell, that you and Debi are having a snag. It does not mean it's over, but perhaps things were happening too fast for her. Give her some space and if you really care about her, remind her gently that you are there for her.

In the meantime, you have friends in us...

Karen

Darrell,
So sorry to hear about you and Deby. We are here for you and I'm sure you can feel the hugs. Relationships are tough and constantly change with the tides. Keep your chin up.

Darrell:

I'm so sorry to hear about the temporary (we hope) detour in your relationship. We will all keep good thoughts for you, and I am positive that things will work out. Just keep a positive attitude, and continue the self improvement that you have begun so you can be ready for the good things which are coming your way.

Darrell I'm sorry to hear about your "bump in the road of life" with Deby. Hopefully it will be but a small one and you will pass over it easily. I'm mantling you too.

I am really enjoying everyon's pictures and stories from the trip to Cruzneyland.

I put up flyers and have an ad in the paper but no one has contacted me with any information about Morrisa. It's almost 2 weeks since she disappeared. I am hoping each day that she will reappear and I know it's possible...........but not probable.

Here it is time for our toast, so I lift my glass too.
