Beautiful captures, Cumbrian! You tell the story so well with your pictures and captions! The video is almost finished uploading. Will post it here as soon as it's finished. I missed the arrival. Saw him on part II. Got his departure and the lone feather flittering after he left. Just finished, so I can post it now. Hope I post it right this time! http://s111.photobucket.com/albums/n142/Pr...SC_10-27-06.flv http://s111.photobucket.com/albums/n142/Pr...mgAnch=imgAnch1 Posted it two different ways. Please let me know which way works or doesn't work so I'll know for the future. Thanks! |

Great video Jann....glad you were here to capture it. I loved the feather floating down after he flew off....but a still would not have done justice to it. The first link worked for me too. Edit to say the other link works for me as well. No action yet at WE nest. I cannot get the TH nest to come up. Has it been turned off? Have a great day folks. |

Lot of "issues" with WE but I can't bring up TH on regular or Dr. Sharpe's so I guess it's down for the moment!? |

Good Morning Folks, TGIF.. I ordered my two brothers T-shirts last night . "Support Our Troops", the eagle was very very cool on the T-shirt. They each have a young son going to Irag, one this Dec. and one still in basic training camp, in N.C. One a Marine, one an Army Soldier. Bless them, they are young ( 18 and 19 ) and want to do the right thing for their country. I just thought the way the Santa Cruz eagles are, at this time, seems so much more peaceful, than the eagle on the t-shirt. Don't want to start anything political here, just the look of the two eagles are different. But some times when those Santa Cruz eagles look straight into the camera, they are intense. I found this web camera site in the Star on Memorial day. |

Can't get the Two Harbors nest to come up either. Was glad to hear it wasn't just me. I remember Dr. Sharpe saying he was gonna be working on the cameras on both of the Catalina nests soon, so maybe that's what it is.

Very, very close. I had to look at them side-by-side. I think the colors in the second one are a little deeper (greens are greener, etc). If I had to choose one, I would take the second one. Anyone else notice any difference? |

Good Morning All~ I am very fired up this morning with the issues of the lead bullets and Santa Rosa Island but today was just beautiful when I drove in and the Islands were very clear, I could almost see the eagles flying around. I am so glad to see Dad coming in for morning inspections, this is a very good sign. He is such a handsome guy and if he does a good job I am sure K26 will be coming soon with the comforters and bedding. How cute is that big stick at the bottom, what does he plan to do with that. Thank goodness he came this morning as I was ready to do some serious roaring and now after seeing him I am much calmer. He is a beauty. . . AS ALWAYS GREAT PICS!!! THANK YOU . . . |
