Cumbrian, finally went back over all the posts and just read about you setting your alarm to get up for the sunrise over the nest. Now THAT'S dedication! An extra feather for your cap for sure!!!

Harpo/Deb - Hope your bathroom finally gets finished and your throne has a comfy seat. After spending $365.00 at the vet this a.m., we really are putting all renos on hold. Jessie's UTI has come back and we had to retest urine, blood, and x-ray her kidneys and bladder to check for stones. TG no stones, so back on another antibiotic and hopefully it will clear up. She isn't suffering from this condition, just peeing a lot so have to be on alert 24/7. I've been up since 4:00 a.m. every day to get her outside as I wasn't quick enough and she had an accident on our bed, where, of course, she sleeps. I hope to see some improvement over the next few days. |

I will keep my positive vibes out there for your little Jessie. My baby doggie, Tessa, is on chemo for cancer and so far so good. At $250 a month but the stuff they can do for the animals today is pretty impressive. I was given 4 months after they removed her cancerous tumor (which I was told is a common occurence, who knew), she is now in her 7 month and appears to be doing fine so far. I think it is the meds and she is quite the warrior. You just gotta love 'em. |

With all the commotion here, I must have missed your initial post about Jessie, Naturegal. Can you direct me to the beginning, so I can catch up? So sorry to hear she's not doing well. Glad she's not suffering, but hope the tests identify what wrong so they're able to clear it up soon. How bad was her accident on your bed? Hoping the mattress was protected! And Harpo.....good luck with your 'throne'!

Sending positive vibes to Naturegal for Jessie.......Troth for Tessa......our pets are very precious to us even if the vets bills are very costly. We haven't heard from Margiew lately.......unless I missed a posting.....and what news of Morrisa? Elaine Ruth, what is happening in your area today? Trust it has quietened down. |

Here is a capture of the spooky nest that Troth was talking about. Also a jay visited, around 9:53AM, walked around the nest, then went onto branch. Didn't stay long. ![]()

It's still early in Hawaii. Hopefully she's getting some sleep. Or maybe she's out scouting out places to show Dave & I when we get to Hawaii!
