As you know All Eagles All The Time 2007/2008 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Two Harbors Nest on Catalina Island.

We watched the eagles start their Nestorations in late September 2007, when they brought some long sticks in, then they didn’t return again until November, when they spent an hour at the nest, and again more sticks were brought in.
Then for a while we were without the camera on this nest.

Dr Sharpe and Steff continued to work on the web cameras both on Catalina Island and the mainland, and in February 2008 they finished setting up the tower at the Two Harbors Nest, and they confirmed that several new sticks, and some dry grass, were on the nest, so both K-81 and K-82 had definitely been working on their nest during the ‘off season’.

The camera came on again on February 19th ... in time for us to witness some bonding between these beautiful eagles ... and on February 22nd, 2008, K-82 laid their first egg.

So here we are ... onto the next important stage ... Eggs and Incubation.

The Videos and Stills posted here on this thread .. have been selected .. as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch.
You can see more videos, and still pictures, by visiting the Daily Observations thread. Also known as Nest Watch

Again we ask you not to post comments in this thread. VIEWING ONLY PLEASE! This will enable faster viewing by Dr. Peter Sharpe and the IWS Team ... for record purposes .... and also for members and visitors to the forum.

We do however welcome comments, about any of the eagles, or the different stages, in the Daily Nest Watch or Chat threads.

Capturers are asked to wait until Cumbrian or EDblue (Eagle Duo) posts the first thread of each day before oosting or reserving a space for your videos and/or captures of the day to keep continuity to the archives.

NEW PARENTS ON THE NEST!

TH 82 is taking a break look at the egg (6:11)
Posted Image

82 flies off to the left for a well deserved break as 81 takes over 6:26
What is that?? Where did that come from??
Posted Image

TH 82 settles gently over the egg - making adjustments to the fluff around her - not sitting yet 9:39 she rolls the egg - 82 is still moving around - guess looking for comfortable spot!

Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

TH lots of eagle calling at the nest by 81 & 82 ravens? haven't seen anything....12:11
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

TH 81 is up off the egg 2:13 seems to be settling right back in - still circling picking at things in the "bowl" - guess needed a new position - didn't see if there was a roll...... not watching 100% - something must have been poking him! LOL now he's back on the egg but stretching to move a stick in front of him .....

K-81 might as well move a stick whilst he is incubating!.... Waiting for K-82 to arrive (12:50pm) to relieve him.
