Andi, doesn't Cedar Point have one of the largest roller coasters in the Country, I think I've seen it on travel shows? I'm a scardy cat when it comes to big roller coasters, I've never been on one that goes upside down, I think I'll be the one to fall out.

Vicki,We did have the title for 1 year(the year it was built) but we lost the title when either China or Japan built one a little taller. You know how amusment parks are always competing for the biggest, tallest, fastest roller coasters. ![]() ![]() The yellow and red one is the Top Thrill Dragster. It goes 120mph up to the top which is 420 ft (that was the one that had the title) Now the blue one in front is the Millenium. Thats me and Deb's favorite It goes 94mph. WHOO HOO is it fun I haven't went on the Top thrill. I have to work up the guts to get on it

I love that pic of Central Park because it shows how big it is... Metropolitan Museum on the right,, in the park, and somewhere coming down from the Met is the Central Park Zoo, where I fell in love with Gus, the polar bear

Andi, wow, that's is one scary looking roller coaster. Ah, the heck with those other coasters! I'll bet this is the biggest one in the U.S. There are a bunch of big coasters at Magic Mountain here in California, but nothing compares to that 94mph monster! Thanks for posting the pic!

Laurie ~ Thanks for the wing up! Just finished printing, and looked up Red Winged Blackbird. That must be it, although, I didn't notice the red until they flapped their wings. Here is the photo I found. (evidently they are very common throughout the US, but I have never noticed one before)......................................................................

Marti, I haven't see any since last fall, I'll probably see them at my feeders sometime in March, whole bunches of them. They can be mean, they chase off the other birds for a few weeks. It's amazing how many different birds you will see that you "never" saw before. Enjoy your new bird feeder. I've enjoyed watching and reading up about all the birds at my feeder. |
