The walking will be good P.T. for you.  We'll just take our time, and you can sit when you need to.

George ~ You might be able to rent an electric chair to ride around in! My friend brought hers from home for the big pet expo in Orange Co. We had that thing piled high with purchased that we did not have to carry! Made a run to the car to unload, and went back for more. :P

Laurie ~ Saw your post last night about snatching a Kit Kat Bar. Just for info., when we were returning from our trip, the airline served a "snack" which consisted of crackers, cheese and ? I forget what kind of meat. Also a Kit Kat Bar. I ate mine, then read the label - MAY CONTAIN PEANUTS. (in fine print on the back) :8O: :8O: :8O:

Then we had something else and noticed (after) that stated it MAY contain peanuts.

No wonder so many are getting sick. You don't expect peanuts to be in some things. Read the label! :o

Sometimes the foods themselves may not have peanuts in the ingredients but they may be prepared in the same facility as items with peanuts and that can be a problem for people with severe peanut allergies. They will usually include that on the package, also. We have a 3rd grader that has a severe peanut allergy. His mom has to be very careful to check everything.

My concern was the salmonella outbreak. What is safe when "it may contain peanuts"? :o

Egads now you got me thinking of those ads for such things as "The scooter store" they have on tv.

One being the grandad type in the black leather jacket with flying scarf and goggles racing the grandkids down a drag strip.

Then there was anotehr with two older ladies <~~Next time we're goin to the grand canyon!

my warped mind has a better version of that ad

after saying that the camera then goes to them at the top of the canyon and suddenly cuts to the bottom of the canyon showing twisted wreckage and a few buzzards with the camera then going to the kids who are spending thier inheritances like it was going out of style

yeah what can i say, to quote bugs bunny "aint i a stinker!" :P

Actually in all seriousness, those motorized chairs do give those folks the mobility they require and are a godsend to many. I think that if justified even medicare will pay for them hence why we see all the ads for them on the tube.

I know that my local supermarkets have some similar iwth baskets on the front of them for folks with mobility problems to get around the store with. Even i used them when i first broke the leg

Marti, is it ALL peanuts and peanut products?? I was in the grocery store the other day and noticed that there is still peanut butter on the shelves. Or is it only certain peanut facilities? Guess I'm a little confused about the whole thing. So many products with peanuts or peanut paste in them they would have to take it all off the shelves wouldn't they?
