Deb - Great photos at Tinicum Park! Not that far away for us, so maybe we will check it out in the next few weeks.

JANN yes George and I are planning to go to The Philadelphia Flower Show together on March 3rd. I'm sure he will be taking his camera gear.

We are also planning to go to Tinicum Park to watch a pair of nesting Bald Eagles there. Again I'm sure he will be taking his camera.

As cricket pointed out - we were on the east side of the Hudson River - by Croton area - the eagles come there to winter each year! :><:

After eagle watching - we hurred across the Tappan Zee and headed to Paramus and a spcial camping equipment store that we love <3 ES bought humself some new socks for upcoming trek in NM but his hat has done 3 trips and is really sad so his birthday present was a new Tilley hat !

After hearing all the forum comments and of course talking with Peter on our couple visits - seemed to be the hat of choice! He's been playing with it all morning - PUT THAT HAT AWAY - now! :P

WOW it's 58 in Philly, and only 53 in Ga. where my family is (normally they are 20-30 degrees warmer then we are here). Hey George we have a Heatwave happening! I'll gladly take it, and wear a lightweight jacket today instead of my big heavy coat.

yes cricket it's the hat B-)) wears - a long time ago there was lots of discussion about the hat - they are guaranteed against loss (for 1st couple years I think) and totally guaranteed for life for just about everything else so....... great investment!

plus the hike in NM is in some intense sun and the brim of this hat is really good!

PEETIE sounds like you have quite a mixture going on there with hail, rain, and snow too. When does your Spring arrive there with all of the beautiful flowers?
