Peetie the same kind since they are best for beginners Phalaenopsis! This one is pure white. Just wanted to get another since the blooms fell off the other one. This way when # 1 Blooms again # 2 will be right behind it! I can see I'm going to get addicted to them now. I'll probably buy a couple more yet before the Summer is done! I love plants, flowers, and watching them grow.

The NEC is doing a program to catch one of the adult Golden eagles that migrate to our area in the winter. They want to put a GPS on it so we can find out where they are from.

This food was placed to see if an adult would be interested.

Of course any food attracts the hooligans

Look what else the camera caught. An immature Golden eagle

.

So or time for the Eagles will be in March & April.

Yes which was already set in my feeble mind before this request from my father came across the bow to me. Given the leg repair job on feb 20, a short recovery post op, should make things fine for march and april. Which was why i told pop early may would be the most likely suitable time for me to travel.

I also have scheduled for sunday april 12 an AHL hockey game of the Philadelphia Phantoms vs the Norfolk Admirals. Since the old spectrum where they play is to be demolished later next fall this is the last regular season game to be played there. The only other pro hockey that could be played there would be if they make the Calder Cup playoffs for the post season. For the non hocky folks , The Calder Cup is the minor league equivalent to the NHL Stanley Cup.

Eaglehandler the golden eagles are beautiful.

There was a food fight at the Maine Cam a little bit ago. Things have calmed down now.

NEC pic

The eagles weren't as active around the river Fri. That's because of all the good dead stuff around in the farm fields that were put out trying to attract adult Goldens.

This is just one block from the Eagle center on the Minnesota side of the river.

They did catch a 4 year old Bald Eagle and put a band on its' leg.

I guess they're looking into putting a wild turkey out now, because they think that's why the Golden migrate here in winter. We have nice fat ones running around in the farmers fields.
