Great pics, eaglehandler! Too cool!

Deb and ES ...all the pics were fantastic yesterday! You are soooooo lucky! Would be worth it being in the cold to see those eagles and that is saying something for me cause anything below 70 is cold to me! rofl

Lala...The Sesame Chicken Pasta salad with tuna turned out just fine. I didn't have the full amount of pasta...just went with what I had here... so the tuna came on a little stronger than the chicken but I considered it a success.

Really awful about the wildfires in Australia. Seems as though I remember a lady that used to post here that was from Australia...hopefully, the fires are not near her.

Quite soggy outside today after the rains. Sunny now but more rains are due for tomorrow. S.D. may be going on water rationing in March.

Going ON rationing? Think you mean off rationing :) Just read also that there has been enough snowfall in the Sierras to really improve the water situation here in Cali. So that is good.

That is KLJinOz that lives in Australia. I hope she is not near the fires, also. Heard they are in Sydney (but am not sure on this) and not sure where she lives.

They did catch a 4 year old Bald Eagle and put a band on its' leg.

I guess they're looking into putting a wild turkey out now, because they think that's why the Golden migrate here in winter. We have nice fat ones running around in the farmers fields.

sorry nice shots but i cant resist this one

Fat what? Farmers? Wild Turkeys? or Golden Eagles after having the smorgasboard you at NEC have put out for them? rofl

I am so mad. With the rain and all the area right in front of my door is barren of grass in a big splotch. I have been saying that looks dangerous to me. No one has done anything about it.
I just went outside and walked around the barren area to put the bottom of Bernies cage out there to dry and I slid in the darn mud. Not good! I twisted my knee back and right arm and wrist.

Geez Deb what are we twins????

SANDIE sounds like you need some protective gear, Bumper Pads, Knee Pads, arm supports, and a wrist splint. The sunny side stays up, and the dirty side down.

GEORGE are you planning on liberating another seat to add to your collection?

no that wont be permitted. The spectrum has other events scheduled thru the fall including the likes of bruce springsteen and other big draw concert groups that made the spectrum here famous for concerts .

The seat from connie mack was liberated on oct 1, 1970. If you recall when they closed down our veterans stadium they auctioned off everything and arrested anyone who tried to remove anything. including signs stuck onto the walls such as the rest room signs.

The phillies were allowed to sell teh items off even though the items were not owned by them but by the city of philadelphia and we taxpayers.

I do intend to get lots of photos of the game as well as pre and post game. I am sure they will have something speical planned for this their last game ever to be played in philly as they will be moved for the next season. The new owners are from pittsburgh so they could move west or there was talk about moving north to allentown pa

San Diego city officials will present their ideas for water rationing at three sessions next week at three different locations around the area. Hopefully, all the rains recently here in the southern part of CA and the snows up north will bring us enough moisture that it won't come to rationing. I'm not sure how much more DH and I can do to conserve our water usage.
