Karen I am so sorry to hear you are having a bought with Hives. I have had them 3 times. Mine were as large as grapefruits and I was semetrical. I had them for 10 months straight. I went to a Dermatolagist who was baffled, an Allergist who was baffled.

Finally went to The University of Pa. Hospital to a Uticaria (Hive) Specialist. I was on so many pills for the severe itching and nothing was helping.

I got disgusted with all of the Doctors and sought a Hypnotherapist. Within 48 hours they were completely gone! I had been under tremendous Stress at work, loosing my Mother, and in the process of loosing my father. We went inside my body to my Immune System and is doing deep breathing expelled all the bad things from my body, while inhaling clean Oxygen.

Now I know Sandie is a Hypnotheripist. Perhaps this is something she could help you with. It sure helped me, and I highly recommend going that way.

SANDIE took a bad fall yesterday at her apartment. She hurt her neck, shoulder, and wrist. Last I heard she had ice on it. If someone lives close to her they might want to check in on her and make sure she's ok.

A very blustry day here.. Some sun now but earlier we had heavy rains with brutal winds.

Lala..Fabulous photos of the moon...very Halloweenish!!

TopaTopa...Love your little VW convertible. What color and year? We have a tan '67 squareback completely restored with white wall tires. It's DH pride and joy. Bought it in '70...both kids learned to drive in it...both kids used it in their senior years...hauled big dogs plus their puppies around in it. When the kids and dogs were gone we had it completely restored from the ground up. Now and then DS comes by just to drive it again.

Jillers.. Love the photo of the CA pepper tree and the close up of the trunk...such character in the trunk. The CA pepper isn't seen much in newer neighborhoods...found mostly in older neighborhoods. When I was a kid there was a hugh one in a vacant lot about four blocks from my home and during a storm was hit by lightning and nearly split in half.

Peetie this New Orchid has me worried. This morning I transplanted it as I did the other one. I did not see the pot did have drainage holes until after all of the soil fell out. It was BONE DRY! I inspected the roots and all were white and dead except for 2. I put it in good Orchid Soil since it was in Potting Soil! and watered it. I am not sure if I should keep it or take it back. I paid $21.99 for this one. The leaves are not as firm and my first one is. This one has a limp feel to it. It has 2 spikes of Orchids on it. That was the reason I selected this one. HELP!

Chiquita-Thanks for reminding me of the name of that tree! I've forgotten almost all that I learned of Horticulture at Cal Poly! I think our neighborhood is old as there are homes built just after WWII on our street, not far from that tree. I think there is at least one more on that street for sure. I've always admired it & finally told myself it was time to take a picture of it! :D

...Verrrrrrrrry cold...not even 50 yet...LOVE it!

OMG that does not even come CLOSE to qualifying as "Verrrrrrrrrry!!!" rofl rofl

rofl rofl Yeah. What she says. .

Well it's all relative. And with the wind chill factor it's got to be down in the 40s...that's COLD for the coast...goes right through you. I remember my first winter in northern Calif...waited allll winter for it to get "cold". Now I'm out there with the rest of them freezing when it drops below 60 LOL

let it rest and onces a week a bit water....
after half a hour control of there is water left in the pot...
throw it away.....

phalaenopsis is one of the strongest orchids..

i think that this happen cause you put the plant in other
soil.....so let it rest....

maybe temperature difference....from shop to your home...

has a bit bad influence for an orchid....

you did just what you must do.....putting in soil and water it...

so let him rest....it will be okay...

but you pay a lot for it.....omg.....

when you want i can send you a cut from mine....

let me know

hugs

Hey Jann, :D
I just got a cute email from eagleboy. ^"^
That's your grandson right?
The older one we haven't met yet, right?
It was sent through the forum.. :ok:
Maybe I'll send him a photo of the car I drive.
I'm always asked by 15 year old boys if I want to sell it.

That is a cute photo of a VW, Cathy, and Christopher loves VW bugs, but Christopher's forum name is Eaglekid, not Eagleboy. I don't know who Eagleboy is.

Our oldest grandson is Anthony, and no, you haven't met him yet. It's possible he'll be coming out this summer though, so that could change.
