Oh I intend to take very good care of me. It wasnt the ice cream, that is allowed even on the most restrictive of diabetic diets. It is not like it was in the old days when i was a new diabetic. Then we were told one small serving per week. For those who really do read the nutrition labels. If you look at the label on a low sugar or no sugar ice cream you may see that the total number of carbohydrates in them per serving are very close to each other. The carbohydrates while not comming from the typical fructose this or that ingredient are hidden in other ingrediants such as the fruits or even the cream used to make the goody. There are all sorts of sugars and the difference is how long it takes for our body to convert it into glucose to feed our body cells. If i recall my organic chemisery right the difference is the carbon bond on the molecule and the number of them on the sugar. so reading the labels you may see glucose, dextrose, sucrose, fructose, maltose, levulose, galactose etc etc all thoe things ending with "ose" are sugars. they just hit the body at different times afer we feed them into us. I know the ice cream was not the problem last night. Sugars have been fine today within normal range for me. I have had a slight chill off and on today so maybe i have some sort of bug. I shall be lurking when lucid enuf to sign on to my laptop. Back for some more i think

I'm watching the Cal-Trans cam for the first time. Eagle in incubating position. I know the first egg was laid on the 6th. Anybody has any knowledge if there is a second egg yet? I like this cam, though I wish it was a little more zoomed in. |

Thanks for the great Squish fix! The closeup of him and reaching for some sort of container, are just priceless. I just want to give me a big hug!

You think?!?!? Seriously, Karen - I'm sorry they keep coming back on you. Hives are miserable, I know.Penny - Thanks for posting the lovely photo of Majesty - as well as the adorable Squish pix. He really looks like a stuffed toy in that first one!Deb - Sorry there doesn't seem to be a "fix" for your finger, but you've got such a great attitude about it. Doesn't sound like it will hinder you much - except for cl**ning, of course!

Thanks Carole! I do agree with you about Katie & George, but then, I'm a bit prejudiced! They are right now snuggled up together in one of their beds on the floor-
