Sharon, Thank you, thank you.. that video is the most special thing I have ever seen.
I will be saving it forever.. It truly is Scout as a kitten and I would love to know
the circumstances of the filming... so honest and un-rehersed... if you know anymore about it I would like to know... Thinking of you too and your loss.. this little video must have been a comfort to you.. <3

A little heads up for everyone here...the Hornby nest cams are back on line hosted by Wild Earth TV. Here is an image taken today of both eagles in the nest.

Hey all - I'm home - I'm sad but I just got this  :D

This video is just so beautiful. it looks like the fawn was still wet with afterbirth. I wonder if it bonded to the cat as if it was its mother.

Thanks so much for posting that and many :Hugs: :Hugs: Sharon
to you and your family at this difficult time.

And the US Forest Service Winter Bald Eagle Count is Saturday. They say they need volunteers for Big Bear, Lake Hemet and Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino, from 8 to 11 am. :ok:

Where are you finding this information, Kris?

Jann, a coworker gave me a clipping from the L.A. Times. The phone #s are: SanBerdo: 760 389 2281, Big Bear Discovery Center: 909 383 2832; Lake Hemet 909 382 2945. :ok:

Thanks, Kris. Now to pick which one we want to go to. We're half way between Big Bear & Lake Hemet.

Yes - this was a smile maker - every once in a while I think I have it "made" - then I get a little choked up... My attorneys have seen me in shades :boohoo: 'cause of my animals - I'll be in shades all day tomorow 'cause these people are gonna hug me for a while  and that's okay :D

Took these on my way back to work this afternoon. These mts. are just east of us. Jim thinks Palomar Mts. but he's not sure. So we even get snow in San Diego County

I'm really being surprised by my RSVP list for my parent's 75th anniversary party...I sent invitations to relatives very far away, just so they could send a card to my parents or maybe a phone call.. well.. everyone is coming... I think you can say it 'backfired' on me as it will be raining cats and dogs and I won't have the use of my two decks and the yard.. something I have always depended on with kids... so am a little nervous, but yet it is all family so we will just be closer than usual.. 44 so far and still some that have not heard from...I'm keeping a couple of guests a surprise :)^ I'm only online with you because I'm too tired to stand anymore.. I have been c -------ing the house for two days and almost done.. then can start on shopping and cooking.

Lala...that is so awesome! Of course they would all want to come! How many people actually get to celebrate a 75th anniversary?? When we did my parents 50th family from all over the country came! Everyone must really love your parents! What a testimony to them! :)^ And you are a wonderful daughter to host the whole shindig :Hugs:
