Hi all, Some on the sbcobirding messages posted that they saw a Bald Eagle flying over the UCSB cliffs yesterday. I found out from him that it was a subadult, though he couldn't see if it had tags. Anyway, people (including me) will be looking for it today, and I'll let you know if there is more info in case any of you want to try to see it. Nina |

Ah it's good to see the grass again in this area. Unfortunately it's brown, but I do see some green so there is hope. |

Just watered my Chives, and planted some fresh Mint for Sweet Tea this Summer. I love watching things grow. Will also plant Peas, Sugar Snap Peas, Basil, Cilantro, Tomatoes, and Bell Peppers tomorrow. Need to buy more soil now.

Good Morning everyone! A beautiful Sunny Day in Southern California. The Topa Topa's and points west are just snowy white, just fabulous. We're expecting a small storm tomorrow, then a biggy Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday. Welcome H20sfine, you'll love it here. Happy Birthday Grandmadootdoot/Judy have a great day today!

Good Morning Cruzers! I am so confused! What is the difference between the "Channel Islands Live! Eagle CAM Discussion Forum" and the IWS Eagle Forum. http://s11.zetaboards.com/IWS_Eagle_Forum/index/ ? I signed up as a member on the Channel Islands Live site (I don't post a lot...a bit shy and somewhat computer challenged!!). Thanks

The CHIL Forum (this one) is where the nest observations and general info and chat takes place - hosted by VCOE and the Partners! The IWS Eagle Forum is hosted by IWS - the provider of the Catalina eagle cams and partner with the PH eagle cam. It's also the forum where information is posted about IWS and how you can support the restoration project if you are so inclined! Lots of folks belong to both forums cause they kind of go hand in hand! ![]() computer challenged Holly - I like that - gotta remember that for future use
