For the car lovers on board.... "Turn up your sound! This is when cars were cars....... Someone did an awesome job putting this together and with sound to boot." "At the very end of the video you'll hear the song 'Thunder Road' sung by the star of the movie for which it was the theme. Not uncommon - except this is the one and only song ever recorded, for publication, sung by Robert Mitchum!" Click here: The Cars In The 50s & 60s http://oldfortyfives.com/CarsWeDrove.htm |

I have good news on the Jenny Craig front...went last night, I hit the 50 pounds lost goal! I have only 10 to go, I'm finally wearing a size 10 jeans, and hope to hit size 8, when these 10 pounds come off. It's easy, the food is fabulous! Plus, I cheat a lot! I did it orignally to get off high blood pressure medication, and with my heart disease history in my family and diabetes. I had to do it to live a healthy life. Hiking, biking and walking daily helped too.

I loved it, reminded me of my dad and all his classic cars he collected. Gosh, seeing that just brought tears to my eyes, I miss him so much. Thanks for the flashback of a gentler time in America.

The sad part Deb, is I had 60 pounds to lose. Somedays I think I needed a 'WIDE LOAD' sign on my backside. I gotta stick around and watch our beautiful eagles for many decades to come. Deb, I meant to tell you, I'm hoping and praying your poor finger make a 100% recovery with minimal discomfort. You're a trooper with a fabulous attitude!

Congratulations!!! Funny how a change in habbits can wean folks off medications for serious problems such as for BP and Diabetes! The first methods for control for those who have adult onset is diet and exercise! Sounds like you took advantage of a good program for good results! Being "bulk challanged" can be a real problem for alot of folks when their joints start to act up. I know a friend of mine who is more than "pleasingly plump" had all sorts of aches and pains in his knees until he lost alot of his bulk.Keep up the good work!
