No worries Deb they can always MAKE it hurt if it doesn't and it should. Been there so many times. Amy's kittie has decided she likes the other kittie's bed and just takes it over. So Amy is buying her a replica. I have been sitting here trying to read chat but been crying and stopping. My emotions must be really charged up. Oprah is on with the most amazing stories! I hope some of you get to watch today's show. Deb heed Peppermint's advice...take your rice too! Have a great time and enjoy. Nice to see some people that haven't been here for awhile. |

Whooper Update: Sad news about whooper chick #810. "#810 last reported in Alachua County, FL January 26. During an aerial flight on February 6, a faint, erratic signal was detected. Mortality is suspected." - from OM website He's the chick who was removed from the ultralight flock because of extreme aggressiveness, and made it to Florida on his own in a group of experienced whoopers.

Iggle, maybe it's just a broken transmitter, one can only hope ... He would have been such a brave, protective whooper dad in a few years. |

for 810.....On the bright side - another egg for the Norfolk eagles!!! Thanks for the update, Penny - I was just watching one of the parents doing that oh-so-gentle-talons-under stomp around the nest bowl to get everybody situated, then the Hornby wiggle to setttle into incubating mode. Awwwwwww I can't wait for "our" eagles to start laying!

The Norfolk cam has been down a lot, what with high winds etc causing havoc with the technical end of things. Mom Norfolk laid her egg while the cam was down so more than a few people are upset that they didn't get video of that event ![]() |
