Thanks for the egg count Carole. I have a hard time remembering what nest has what! Also I didn't know there was a Colorado nest. GOOD GRIEF! When the IWS eagles start laying eggs, I'll never get anything done that's for sure!!!

I can never keep track of them either, asparky, so finally started posting them on a website. All the info I have from 2008 is on my website (I'm still working on the pages for some of the nests - including the IWS nests; you have such a great resource here with the Nest Observations and AEATT that I tend to focus on nests without such a strong on-line following) - the link to my main page for 2008 is in my signature block. And I've started a table for 2009 - link is here. A lot of the links for pictures don't work yet as I haven't made the pages for this year's pictures (better get started - the NCTC eggs in WV could hatch within 2 weeks! )And the Fort St Vrain nest in Colorado is supposed to have two cams this year - one looking into the nestbowl like last year (and like Carole's picture) and one looking from the side - which will be great for watching older eaglets!

![]() Happy Valentine's Day to All! I couldn't let the day pass without checking in. Life has been very hectic, but I try to keep one eye on the nests at least, even if I can't make it here as often. ![]() Wishing a very Happy 75th Anniversary to Linda's parents, and a joyous time to all at their celebration party.

Wow it is such a bright clear day out there. I'm sure Lala and family are really enjoying it. It's about 57 degrees here.. Sailboats are out, airplanes are flying and snow is melting. I bet that the next few days we get a ton more. Kris so nice to see you drop by!! Cricket....what's up with your body?? Something is outta whack huh? blood pressure off or ears or some sort of blood not flowing right. Check back with us and let us know you are ok when you are up to it. I just loved the Oprah show yesterday. Did anyone else happen to catch it? Great dog story of a dog that was in a fighting ring and had his ear ripped off and his eye hanging out of it's socket. This family adopted it and Iggy is the happiest dog on the planet. They met Iggy at the Vet's office whenhe came running out from the back area and leapped into their lap and just licked them all over. Love at first sight! So sweet. Mom and kids flew to the show but Dad drove 15 hours with Iggy because he never wanted him to be caged up again. Special family!Peetie sorry you have to wait forever and ever for your special kitty. I bet once you get your hands on him he wil be instantally well and forever healthy and happy. |

Well I'm up. Not sure for how long. Still going easy. Not as dizzy as before but I'm still not right yet. George you may have something there. I am on B/P Med. but unfortunately our Sphig. broke, and I can't monitor my Pressure. We do have a lot of Hypertention in the family. Sandie I did think about the ears since I do have Meniers Disease. Will have to check with the Doctor Wednesday I guess, and see what's happening to me. Don't feel like going out tonight, and didn't cook so looks like Chinese Delivery again. Sigh. |

Happy Valentines Day all, We just got back from a wonderful day of snow playing up here in Big Bear and this morning we just happened across A Bald Eagle presentation at the DiscoveryCenter in Big Bear. I told the Biologist all about the Cruzers and Dr. Sharpe and our eagles and he told me that one of our Catalina eagles was up there visiting not too long ago. I aked him the numer but he did not know. There was also suppose to be an animal tracking day wich we wanted to do but the weather postponed it. Itis really snowy up here and we are expecting more. Cold and windy too. I got a bunch of Bald Eagle things for Valentines day from DH so that was awesome. Well I need to go start chopping wood for our fireplace tonight as it is cold here. Take care everyone!

Good night Peetie. Sweet dreams of Sjimmie. If you can't hve him live then in your dreams. It's not just when I get up. I am swaying in the chair. If I move my head at all, it's really bad so I am trying not to do that. At Brunch today the people in the Restaurant who know us knew something was wrong just by looking at me, but then again I had a death grip on Ken's arm too. He kept saying if you feel like your going down let go! Big help. |
