Glad y'all liked the pics of Julian Lala...I didn't even think about stopping at the cemetary  What a dork  Yeah, after I saw the pics I thought they may not be ducks. Could have been cormorants, I guess. But from a distance and in the binocs that is what they kind of looked like. I could tell the one was a pelican, tho, and he looked so out of place..no where near the ocean! Jill...LOVE the Africa pics! Haven't gone back to read other than today so any others you posted before today I will check out later. The cheetah one is my fave! |

Your Africa photos are really stunning Jill Memories for a lifetime....not keen on the huge snake though but you look very cute in it and the giraffes silhouetted against the horizon and clouds in the sky is an awesome shot.

Well, it is now 10:50PM, the results of the tournament haven't been posted on the website yet and we still haven't heard from our friend. He may be on his way to the airport or he may still be playing I will definitely send him the Tony G link Ian. What an over-the-top player. Wouldn't a guy like that get thrown out of the play? Our friend did mention one man at his table who was getting madder and madder as he was getting dealt terrible cards which couldn't win. At one point he stood up and tore up the cards he had been dealt. I think you could call that a mini meltdown. Anyway, he was banned from play for the rest of the day. That would be a little comic relief if it wasn't so disconcerting. ![]() Our friend also keeps dark glasses on while he plays because he says it is hard for him to control the glint in his eye when he gets dealt a really fabulous hand
