Oh I love Philly. I went a long time ago but what fun it was! Do you get to Europe much?

Alas no. I hope to go back again though. My goverment job made it rather hard to schedule a decent vacation to properly plan a european tour. Even more so in the post 9-11 era.

My last trip was to sweden about 5 years ago and to germany about 20. I have a rather rare leica camera that needed some very special attention and it could only be done at the then home of Leica in Wetzlar. Due to the value, i was not going to let it go unnatended over there.

pelagic (p-ljk)
Relating to or living in or on oceanic waters. The pelagic zone of the ocean begins at the low tide mark and includes the entire oceanic water column. The pelagic ecosystem is largely dependent on the phytoplankton inhabiting the upper, sunlit regions, where most ocean organisms live. Biodiversity decreases sharply in the unlit zones where water pressure is high, temperatures are cold, and food sources scarce. Pelagic waters are divided, in descending order, into the epipelagic, mesopelagic, bathypelagic, abyssopelagic, and hadopelagic zones.

Interesting handle, pelagicbirder...

Is she really that still or is my non-neocast frozen? (Didn't want to clutter up NO with this).

edit: Never mind. I see from the posts on NO that she really isn't moving much right now....

Did you get any news on your friend's placing?  I'm actually not too sure from the site exactly which tournament it was as there seem to be several 1 day tournaments listed between Feb 16 and Feb 18,  but I think you said the one he is in is a 3-day tournament.

Our friend came in third so he won $30,000 plus a jacket to wear Ian. He just got back to his house in Winnipeg. The tournament finished at around 2:00AM this morning. He had to make a plane at 6:00 AM

The last place person went home with $3,100 and the winner took home $90,000....before Uncle Sam takes his cut that is :D The results still aren't posted on the website. He was in tournament #26. He is a very happy camper right now because he has that jacket which he says is a good intimidation tool for any future tournament he enters
