But isn't Cruz about that age? Has there been any behavior on her part? |

Glad to hear she stopped smoking. I wish I had stayed stopped when I quit the first time years ago. Lisa had asked me for her 16th Birthday. This time my Grandson Tommy asked me to quit after he found out his Dad has Ca. of the mouth. The CXR will tell us what's happening if it's the beginning of CHF, COPD or God forbid Cancer. My legs really aren't that swollen, but I am watching them very carefully. |

Cruz is 3 years old and possibly old enough to start getting interested in a mate, but it'll be at least another year before she settles down to nest with a mate. |

It is a very sad situation for all concerned re: the Chimps attack. The Owner, her friend, and the Chimp. I said before and I'll say again and Wild Animals have no business being a house pet. It's an accident waiting to happen. The Owner is at fault. I know she loved him but she was wrong to have him. If he were still in the wild he would probably still be alive swinging from trees and eating bananas. |

I think that one NYS legislator has called for prohibiting the posession of primates in New York after this event hit the media. I wonder if any special permit is required to own them there or not. The same sort of permitting requirements as falconers and raptor owners have to get |

Reminds me of something that happened about 30 years ago to me. I was waking one of my German Shepherd Dogs in a Local Park, and we came across a lady walking her pet. She admired Heidi and told me she was a beautiful dog. I asked her what breed she has and it was a Timber Wolf she raised from a pup. Heidi and I made tracks really fast. Again these creatures are beautiful and belong to Nature NOT US! I just hope she didn't try to breed her Wolf to a dog, or there will be many problems in the future instead of just one now. I have seen wolf/dogs for Sale but will always Boycot that. |

MrGoose is the photographer. I take the binoculars. The park is about an hour and 15 minutes from our home. We also visit Conowingo Dam in Maryland and so far we have found three active eagle nests this season. This weekend for the first time I saw a male eagle fly in and take over egg-sitting as female eagle flew off. It was awesome! |

I'm going to get the Chest x-ray this Saturday. Both Links I put in on the other Thread had to be removed by a Mod.. I was told it was advertising. So anyone interested in joining us on the trip to Ireland we can chat here. |
