A Patient now a days must watch out for themselves. Doctors want to make money and don't care if your NPO for 14 hours and suffer from Diabetes! I would call and if no one returned my call I would not show up plain and simple. When the doctor does call and he will, tell him why.

The hummer cam is back up with two new eggs - one from Monday and another from today. That is one busy little birdie! She spends half her life on the nest and the other half  and feeding her young. rofl rofl rofl

Wishing George and Sandie all the best, sending a big hug to both of you! :Hugs:

:bday: Happy Birthday Andrea, have a fabulous day! :bday:

:Hugs: back at you!! I'll wave hello when we go whale watching on Wed the 25th. Are you anywhere near Victoria by the Marina??? Can't wait til Kate gets here. Ipick her up :^: at the airport on the 24th.

Actually Sandie, I'm in Oxnard Shores, about a mile from the harbor. Have a fabulous time! I had friends who went whale watching yesterday, and saw lots of whales and dolphins. Enjoy and take pictures! I'll be waving as you go by. :}^

Penny, adorable video!  Look at all that snow they get to play in!

And it's the real deal too...they didn't have to truck it in as an enrichment item for their enjoyment rofl

This is all I could find out from anywhere about the Lions

I called Ventura PD and the local radio station and no one has heard anything about it. Better believe I am watching EVERYTHING that moves around this place!!!

Linda - So far I don't have a hummer family this year. The nest is still deserted, but I'm not giving up yet. The male Anna's are back and it's been pretty crazy out there so I might get babies again this year after all! :X: But wow - TWO families?!?!? How can one little hummer mama do all that?

Vicki I used to live behind the Shores and The bottle shop on Breakwater. I'm sure you know where that is.

Nope no lions out this way so far Patti but who knows Santa Paula is not that far away!!

This is the third clutch she has had since the very end of October!

I do hope you get another family this year. It is way to early for the hummers to be back here. We won't see any until mid-May.
