Janna I agree 100%. She had no business having a Wild Animal in her home. It was an accident waiting to happen. I do not feel sorry for her at all, she brought all of this on herself treating him as though he were human. If he had been left in the wild he would still be swinging from trees and eating bananas.

All the information that is "fit to print" is in the updates. Cruz is fine.

we wouldn't know about finding the transmitter - they only post once a week or when they are at a place where they have internet access - so we have to wait!

Glad you all liked my Turtles today. Laurie, Sara & Sota are just fine. Their beaks were a tad out of joint as a mallard and his missus moved onto their pond.
They never seem upset with the great blue heron, woodstork and other birds but the ducks bother them. No sign yet of nesting. :(

Regarding the owner of the chimp...nobody has discussed the fact that the chimpanzee was in the movies and therefore he was a source of income for her. She also fed him meat, which as we all know is usually full of growth hormones and antibiotics. :8O:

I'm not talking about organically raised meat and poultry here, maybe she fed him that type, but even though her animal was raised as a human, the 'wild' is never far from the surface and there was plenty of warning that his temperment had changed in recent years...probably as a result of a lot of things including extreme frustration.

Janna
the cartoon was not about the chimp...it was blatant racism and a totally disgusting reference to the President !!!
