With a camera on the sign.. Good Idea..
I never look at the road anymore,
my eyes are always looking up in the trees. I'm an accident waiting to happen.

I just had trouble getting into the forum.
I had to go through IWS Eagle forum and then Cruzer events then to chat..

Maybe others are too.

You all want me to watch how I phrase things and all I said is I thought some were complaining. How is that bad? There is just no winning with some of you and it is really sad. I think we all need to watch how we phrase things and remember people's feelings. I feel how I feel and I am not going to be criticized for it.

Janna....please....just let it go!!!! Everybody...let it go. We read all of the comments with the spirit with which they were intended. No need to belabor this point. We take our direction regarding Nest Obs organization directly from the CHIL partners and biologists involved. If you want to see a summary of the day, go to AEATT for the cream of the crop, best of the day photos....otherwise, sit back and enjoy the detailed postings.

Hi :}^
Wow, it's been a long time since I've been here, but I just felt like saying hello since reading today's forum. Thank you Topa, Bea, Robin, Cheryl, Peppermint, Jillers, Summer, and anyone else I might have forgotten who brought my concerns out into the open. For the first time in a long time, it feels like home.

I had lunch with these critters today in Santa Barbara... the turtles are in a beautiful fountain in the middle of a courtyard.. very happy to have some sun... the the pigeon was there for the bread... I had a great time in SB today....

Linda, that is one beautiful turtle! Love the red on it's head. I wonder what kind they are.
Also, BTW, are you north or south of SB and how long did it take to get there?
Thanks

Harpo.. Swans??? Elaine, I am south of SB.....and inland about 9 or 10 miles takes about 40 minutes.. I can go the coast or over the mountains and around the lake... I usually do the mountains....when we came to California, I was one year old...we were pulling a trailer from Ohio... we were headed for Santa Barbara but stopped in Ventura because it was getting late.. next day my parents decided to stay a day or two so my mom could do washing... they drove into Ojai and fell in love...found a piece of property and that was that.... if not for that darned laundry, I would be living in Santa Barbara right now :D :D

Love the swan photos, Deb.

I know what you mean about Lost. Apparently all the loose ends will be tied up or explained before the end of the series. I just have a mental picture of a huge wall about the size of a gymnasium someplace with little sticky notes and strings all connected and overlapping, heading towards the other end of the wall and the finale.
