If we want to see eagles at Cachuma we have to go soon. They will be gone in a couple of weeks. I have a couple of weekdays available in the nest two weeks that I could donate to the cause! Jill, you ate ONE M&M?! My two bags were gone the week after I brought them into the house. That's why I can't keep chocolate around! Karen, thanks for the memorial to Socks. He was very special and will be missed. BTW, how is your Chinese Harlequin doing? Aren't you glad you kept him? They are a fantastic breed, full of personality. I'm crazy about my LuLu. |

Nothing wrong with the sony digitals, pink or purple or whatever the color may be! Many of the sony cybershots and other models have a Carl Zeiss lens which are considered to be one of the finest optical firms in the world. (right after Leica of course of the panasonic lumix models) For some reason i am wide awake. Normally i turn back into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight but i cant sleep because i tend to sleep on the same side as my throbbing sore knee is.

One of my favorite games for my PS2 is F355 Challenge, which is a very realistic simulation of the Ferrari F355 - and I have a GT Force racing wheel to go with it Unlike most racing games there is only one car in the whole game - the F355, and you can drive it on a few real life tracks. The realism of the simulation is so precise it is rumored that some of the Ferrari drivers used to use it to practice certain tracks. Unlike most driving video games which are very forgiving to make it easier, the car is very challenging to drive. |

You've had too much rest today George.. You will surely sleep well tonight.. How's the pain? [/QUOTE] Pain is annoying me now but the 2mg hydromorphone (delaudid) tablets seem to take some of the edge off it. The only reason i am alert now is because i tend to sleep on that side and not on my back or stomach which is not pleasant laying down. I wonder however whether i would have the same problem on a larger bed than my traditional twin sized one. As a professional bachelor, i never could fathom a need for even a queen size bed. Being long framed and nto wide framed, i dont take up much space so it seemed to me that it wasnt needed. Btw, i LOVE the turtle portrait shot posted earlier. Here where i am as a kid we used to have oodles and oodles of box turtles but they have now dissappeared and i think are somewhat considered endangered here in se pa. Congrats too HARPO for the publication of your shot with ! In many ways when submitting images for publication they will ask "have you ever been published". Which is why it can help to save a copy of the printed shot WITH the photo by credit on it. The only time i have ever been published was when a car of my neighbors employee burst into flames right in between our houses here. Huge flames. I sent it to our local paper only on a whim even though the fire was a week earlier. Much to my surprise not only was it published with a photo by credit , it was published in full color and also "Top of Fold" which in newspaper jargon menas front page right below the masthead and above where the paper is folded to show only the top half on displays or in a newspaper kiosk

As I recall...the official "Eagle Tours" at Cachuma end at the end of February because they said they all leave by then. The adult pair that are up there should be nesting and won't be out and about as much. I can't go....but hope you guys get there soon and get some good
