I am stunned seeing those photos of the Eagle attacking the swan Pat. Where did that happen? I just went back to check and see it was in Terrace B.C.Here is something I found at Michael's yesterday. It reminded me about that beautiful eagle needlepoint Peetie started on last year. Did you ever finish that one Petra? This is just a very small 5X5 finished size one. I really loved the muted colours. There was only one kit there but I'm sure it is available at other Michael's. You can see the company name if you want to Google it. It's called 'Eagle's Flight' #17069 and is from Dimensions-Crafts In Reading PA.

Fellow nest observers we have a great Egg Prognosticator here. Last evening CDN CDN/CHERYL Posted the following on NestObservations:"Last year the second TH egg was laid overnight or in the early morning of the fourth day, so we may have a surprise tomorrow morning. When the cam came on, the second egg was there. " Soooo---when you all turned on your computers early this morning---low and behold! K82 had laid her second egg!! Cheryl is the prognosticator with the mostest!!

All this talk about French Toast Casserole...I just had to have French Toast for dinner. Next time I have overnight guests, I'm going to try the Paula Deen recipe for sure...looks so easy and I'm all for anything I can ahead of time. |

How funny Patti, I too had french toast for dinner. Okay, it wasn't Paula Dean's but, it was Jenny Craig's!

Janna I hope you feel better soon. Well I had a wonderful dinner tonight because I cooked it! It was Roasted Salmon with a Maple Balsamic Glaze, Creamed Spinach, and String Beans Almondine. Took about 2 hours start to finish, and it was delish. Ken was angry because I smoked up the house (too bad) that's what can happen when one really cooks. Every time I basted with the glaze it would smoke. So I had the Patio door open as well as the front door and was running back and forth fanning them. Thankfully the Fire Alarm did not go off. The smoke did not help my Lung problem and my eyes are still burning. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow. It was fun. Ken did appreciate the meal afterwards or he knew he would be wearing it! |
