Pat wow that swan was huge. Wonder what made the eagle attempt such a thing like that. I wonder if that is normal. Peetie I bet your kittie wants to go home with you as much as you want him to. Guess i understand if this could be passed to your other kitties. That would not be very pleasant for any of you!! Sorry I missed Sara last night. She has a special place in my heart for sure. Topa all the way to Santa Monica! I should have told you to stop at my favorite thrift store in Malibu. Great place. George I know exactly how you feel. I'm so sorry. Sometimes the pain med's don't work and you need to take something else. I know about "working thru the pain" w/o the meds but that's not smart right after surgery. If you don't take it on a regular basis the pain will get out of control on you. Sloppy kisses for you...hope you are better. Cricket for heaven's sake. Closed til WED??? At this rate you'll never find out what's wrong. Jeesh. This should not happen to such a sweet person! But I know you are smart enough to take everyone on if need be!! Lala I have never heard of Pauls's recipe. I have to find that and try it out. Sounds yummy. But for my 2 cents the recipe you brought me is tops!! Welcome all the newbies. This is going to be so eggciting. I'll miss the "drama" of Peter and everyone taking the eggs out of the nest. I loved watching that unfold. They probably won't miss doing that climb tho. I can't believe this is my place right now. it's wonderful being able to walk around again without tripping. WOW. Oh and the snake yesterday might have belonged to the drug dealer they hauled outta here. His sister may have let it loose when she came over to take stuff out of his apt. Poor snake. Even tho I don't especially like them. Everytime I see the Panda pic's I have a stupid smile on my face. |

Those pictures of the swan and eagle were amazing. If you go to the Blackwater sight, they said an eagle caught a Canadian Goose and brought it to the platform. They said the goose may have been old or sick, thus making it easier to catch.

well i think that being awake constantly since 6am yesterday save for the surgery when i was knocked out has caught up with me. I am gonna call it a night and hopefully get some beauty sleep. Pain is definitely less than last night so thats a good sign i think. If i do wake up or cant sleep i may be back but , nothing personal , i hope not and that i will return tomorrow refreshed NYTOL!! |

Pat - Thanks for posting the eagle/swan pictures. Those are just amazing. We seen to remember something about eagles being able to out maneuver larger birds where smaller faster birds could escape mid air. Nite Pettie George - Hope you're feeling better. Take it easy and go slow.

Chiquita, I think what made it so good is that it was cooked, and then reheated 20 or so minutes later and it was so fluffy, like a souffle'...I'm glad you are trying it ahead of time....

I've been trying to be good all day and keep my legs up so we can go see an illusionist tonight. I've never seen one live, so I'm very excited. He's even supposed to do the Houdini water escape illusion. I still have a video I want to do of the PH nest. Will try to do it when we get back.....or tomorrow morning....depending on how my legs are after the show. Wish me luck! <poof> |
