I wasnt going to do it but i too posted three shots just for demonstration there.

Same subject shot with 35mm and then with a 600mm

last shot there shows the area from the same postion shown by the red square showing the area covered by a 600 in the image shot with the 35mm lens

here is a view shot with a 35mm lens and then the red boxed area showing what one would see from the same shooting point with a 600mm. Note the smaller area of the 600mm (the angle of view) . Smaller angle of view with the magnification to fill the frame

Posted Image

The area full frame of what is the red boxed area on above shot

Posted Image

Both shot from the same exact location with the wide angle and the telephoto without any cropping. These two are both full frame uncropped

Sorry mods, i thought this might be worth showing here to show what happens when the length of a lens increases

Marti, I can't find the time to be own very often and when I am own, its just to lurk and catch-up on all the post and NO. I love to read what all of you are doing and to keep up with our beloved eagles everywhere. Like a lot of you, my favorite nest is PH with K10 and K26. It will be a year in April that I found all of you on this awesome forum and what a wild ride we have had since.

I didn't see what K-10 brought back to the nest with K-26 in pursuit, but 26 swallowed it whole!
