Summer and Sasha and I went into the field yesterday..lots of wildflowers but we chased this butterfly forever and he finally landed.. (George, this was the MICRO lens that I leave on so much of the time) we liked his hairy little body!! :clk:

lovely shot of the yelloow tiger swallow tail butterfly. Nice and sharp with the Micro nikkor . While i have a normal 50mm prime, i too seem to be shooting more wtih the 60mm micro nikkor. Both micro nikkor lenses have a great reputation for sharpness.

Oh i know the "fun" of chasing those butterflies all over the place to get a shot of them. Not sure who gets tired out first me or the subject rofl

I am considering the 105 since this year i wont owe the IRS and should be getting a decent tax refund shortly :X:
