Cheryl Hip replacements are a lot easier then they use to be. The incisions are smaller and the re-couperation time is faster. Knees are a little harder but just tell her to keep working it. The old saying "USE IT OR LOOSE IT" is still my motto. Tomorrow will be the worst day after that she will start feeling more like herself.

MARTI the popping sound the person heard was probably an Adhiesion. I had that too with my shoulder and hip. It feels better after it pop's. I still get them it's scar tissue.

Wow, that's good to know. I wondered why his doctor wasn't getting more excited. The problem is, they don't explain these things to the patient.

Hope you are feeling better! Glad to see you are getting some cooking time in. However, don't over-train him for home cooking. It's nice to go out after a hard day at the office! :)^

Enjoy the flower show... and smell every rose! :D Wish I could tag along. I love plants and flowers.

Not feeling better. Still pretty dizzy. Will get Chest X-ray done either today or more likely tomorrow. Think I go back to the Doctor this Wednesday. She wanted to see me in 2 wks. but am scheduled for 1 week.

Trust me I have no intention of spoiling Ken as far as taking me out to dinner is concerned. He promised to take me out on days we work which is fine by me. I'll cook on my days off which was the initial agreement 38 yrs. ago. I just hate going out every single night. I enjoy cooking too much.

I am so looking forward to going to the Flower Show. It's been years since I went and Ken doesn't enjoy it at all because he's short and can't see. So he'll stay home and watch Golf, or the Barrett Auction, Drags, or something I don't really care. I'm going out and enjoying myself.

That is so sweet of you Janna I appreciate that. I'll take recent pictures when we go to Fla. in June, It's beautiful there, and I can't wait to get away again spending time with the family. Cecilia my Grand-daughter can help me with the pictures.

I get out of work at 6:15 tonight and will call you then. Sorry I couldn't talk when you called.

I hope to have everything but the pictures done by this Saturday and will Post the Information I have on Dublin Ireland.

Good Morning Cruzers, hope you're having a wonderful Monday morning. :}^ There's a bit of rain this morning on the coast. :rn: Kind of humid and warm too. I was personally very happy Kate Winslet won for The Reader, which was fabulous! :><: And Heath Ledger, he was fabulous in the Dark Night. Mr. Jackman, was one hot tamale, wish he took his shirt off.

From Linda of Lompoc-QUOTE: Very Cool.... How do you get to tour that house? I see it all the time and would love to see inside.

One of the members of the Santa Ynez Model A Ford club arranged for us to tour it. You can contact Kay Reid as she & her husband own it. pioneerloghomesofbc (and you can figure out the rest of the web address, since this is a commercial site I guess). :D Or e-mail her pioneerlog@telus.net

I thought Sean penn showed a lot of class when he mentioned Mickey Rourke after he won the Oscar for best actor. We missed most of the show but got back right when Heath Ledger won his posthumously. :'(

The way the Oscars were presented to Best Actress and Best Actor by previous winners was a stroke of genius. I really did like that idea and hope it continues...makes it much more personal and meaningful. :><: :><: :><:

Mickey Rourke was very gracious at one of the Oscar parties later when someone asked him if he was disappointed not to have won and he said that Kate Winslet had been nominated so many times before she finally won last night so he did not feel slighted. Classy of him. :)^
