I am so looking forward to going to the Flower Show. It's been years since I went and Ken doesn't enjoy it at all because he's short and can't see. So he'll stay home and watch Golf, or the Barrett Auction, Drags, or something I don't really care. I'm going out and enjoying myself.

I am sure we will have a great time. I will make sure to take lots and lots of shots while we are there too to share.

Just looked at the incision site after taking the mummy wrap ace bandage off to releive the itchiness. scar now is a raised welt like ridge of a measly three inches with about 3 surgical staples holding the skin together. The doctor said pre op that there could be a need for a second incision on the kneecap if they ran into any problems. Lucky for me he didnt and i had only one cut,

Now i have to run out to the rite aid to birddog some decent gauze pads and pick up some dermapore/transpore clear surgical tape since the paper doesnt stick for long to me and the rayon tape also is easly loosend with perspiration and starts to itch.

TTFN :}^

Best wishes to your Mom, Cheryl.

You know I sympathize. I had my surgery Feb 6th and am slowly getting better.

Marti is right about the physical therapist. I had one last Friday who was determined she was going to get the same range of motion out of me that the other two PT's did earlier in the week.

She about killed me that day and still didn't do as good as the two PT's.

I thought Sean penn showed a lot of class when he mentioned Mickey Rourke after he won the Oscar for best actor.  We missed most of the show but got back right when Heath Ledger won his posthumously.  :'(

The way the Oscars were presented to Best Actress and Best Actor by previous winners was a stroke of genius.  I really did like that idea and hope it continues...makes it much more personal and meaningful. :><:  :><:  :><:

Mickey Rourke was very gracious at one of the Oscar parties later when someone asked him if he was disappointed not to have won and he said that Kate Winslet had been nominated so many times before she finally won last night so he did not feel slighted.  Classy of him.  :)^

Yep, he showed true class. He was like a kid in a candy store, being at the Oscars as a nominee. I went to the Oscars in 1985, with my Godfather, he's won Oscars for ET, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, All the Presidents Men, and a few more I can't remember. all for sound. I borrowed a gown from his wife, and off we went. We went to a few parties afterward, it was lots of fun. Out of Africa was the big Movie of the Night.
