GEORGE when you take your dressings off try putting alcohol (RUBBING) around, and on the incision. It helps with the itching. If the nerves were cut your not going to feel too much. If you do blow on it. I did this for my shoulder and it felt wonderful even though I had to blow on it a little while. It also helps to dry up the Surgical Site faster. Be careful with the clips. |

LaLa - Beautiful peacock. Full preening must take hours. You are so lucky to have so many feathered friends. |

Linda your peacock wins for 'best dressed' ![]() What a treat to see him outside your door everyday, except if he is peeking in the bathroom window  |

I lucked out. I dont have to trek out to the pharmacy after all. I saw my neighbor and asked if perhaps she had any gauze pads that i could perhaps borrow. She had some HUGE compund dressings which are about 5 inches wide by about 9 long and very thick. So, i just sliced a portion from the end of one folded it and firmly taped that over the 3 inch incision wiht the 3 metal surgical staples. Now i can put a regular pair of pants on instead of these dumb athletic sweat pants So, if i had to go out in public i can be more presentable instead of a public eyesore.Pain is just about gone too compared to friday and saturday so i am very optomistic that this is the final solution to the problem ive had since i broke it last february.
