Well, I just put a turkey in the oven... it's not huge, but will take a few hours to cook, I always feel good when I can smell dinner cooking while I play on the computer...

Paula buy the Ronco Rotisserie I love mine! You can use it for many things, Chicken, turkey, BBQ Ribs. Hot dogs, hamburgers, Prime Rib, Kabobs, steam veggies right on the top of it, and fish to name a few. Comes with ties, Recipes, mit, injector, video etc..

Mmmmmm, turkey! I have one in my freezer that I didn't cook over the holidays.

My cat used to <3 LOVE <3 turkey! She always knew what I was making and from the time it went in the oven until it was done, she would hang out in the kitchen and meow and beg like a dog! It was so funny! She loved it when I would give her the giblets - I had to split them between the cat and dog, lol.

Thanks for the ideas for the rotisserie chicken - I think I will go with the quesadillas.

Love, those GHO's JoJo and the hummer on the nest. :)^

Those mushrooms look delish Bea. We never did that mushrooms picking thing when we were young so I have really no idea which ones are safe to eat.

Hope your other cats will get along with Alex Peetie. It must be quite a shock to them to have an interloper arrive in their midst....and when Sjimmie comes home it will happen again :o

:X: that will be an easy transition for all of them <3

Penny, my mom and dad always went thru my brothers and my basket to make sure we didn't pick any poisonous (sp?) ones, and only then would we all sit down together and start cleaning and cutting them up for the meal.
I only know a few mushrooms by sight that are okay to eat. But, without my mom to check, I don't think I want to test that out

cdn-cdn...When I was a little kid I'd always go with my grandmother to church on shrove Tuesday where we'd make and serve pancakes. For some unknown reason, to this day, it is the one thing I remember enjoying the most about church...setting up the long tables, making sure there was enough syrup and coffee for everyone...running around making sure everyone had enough pancakes. Maybe I should have been a waitress!!!

Well, off to see the circus set up...always enjoy seeing the big top go up...not much of that anymore as circuses set up inside sports arenas, etc. now... to my knowledge, Circus Vargas and Cirque du Soliel are the two remaining travelling circuses that set up under le grand chapiteau.
