Hey Marie....you aren't far from me. The Eagle nest I watch is on Guntersville Lake. And there is another pair at the Guntersville dam. |

PH 26 is in the nest and looks like maybe egg possibility - over there! Facebook has all kinds of applications you can participate in and one is a farm - you have animals and trees and plant crops and earn money to buy house, barn - ED and MIB got me hooked ..... |

We are close as the Eagle flies and I have family in Huntsville. I have been to Guntersville many times to play golf at the State Park. Its beautiful up there but as many times that I have been, I have never seen an eagle. Lots of Deer but no eagle so far. I think we will be playing there in May for the Etowah County Home Builders tournament. You can bet your boots that I will be looking for eagles... |

Thanks Deb, I had no idea all that was on Facebook. Maybe I should get a farm too! Deb, do you think this is the day for K26? She sure is assuming the position to lay her first egg of 2009! |

Here's an amazing video of National Geographic's hunt for the snow leopard in the Himalayans. Snow leopards are natural predators of wild panda cubs, but they are still beautiful. http://link.brightcove.com/services/player...ctid=7247114001 Remember those incredible National Geographic ecotours that Snoopysmom took? Didn't she do the penguins in the Antarctic a few years ago and then was it polar bears last year? |

Thank you Carole for emailing the Oklahoma people about that trash bag on that nest. Those pictures you showed very scary! Glad the bag is now gone!

I am not too familiar with the oly system but did some research and replied. In my early formative photo years, i almost considered the oly om1 slr but i just didnt like where the shutter speed dial was, right on the front of the camera around its lens mount flange. OF course that was almost 30 years ago |

on facebook it's "farm game" just like they have snowball fight, throw beads, baby animals, growing flowers - it's one of the applications! |

No visual on an egg on PH but everything points to there being one.. pop over to NO and watch the pics... she is now very content, setting and relaxed, unlike earlier when she was circling the nest...no exciting!!! |
