I think the blackwater site says thier eaglets should be starting to hatch today or tomorrow too so we can use them as a dry run for our eaglets to get us on cue for the fun of this nest season :)^

I see another great day on the nests. I have been watching the Starr Ranch Barn Owl cam and if you pop over there I think that you will see some of the familiar names from this thread. Raptorman has posted several times with great info. There are two owlets for sure and I think maybe a third. This time of the evening is fun to watch as prey is brought in regularly and feedings are taking place with a frenzy. The owlets have grown very quickly.

Take a look it is quiet over there

yeah about this time last night i saw mrs owl feeding one of her brood and posted the video of it. Wonder how many more of her eggs will hatch? Seems Barny Owl still has amorous intent despite her having laid 6 already as he continues to bond with her

George I just saw that they think they have 4 owlets! I just posted a question about a second clutch of eggs for the Mrs. as I continue to see mating happening. If a second clutch is laid I wonder when? Let's see if I get a response.
Tonight there has been lots of feeding with prey drops.

WOO HOO I'm excited  :**:  - I went out at lunch and picked up my new camera - a Canon 40D body and kit with EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM.

I'm excited too. That's my camera and I look forward to learning more about it.
I know you and Leicaeagles will have so much to talk about.
Where is the camera thread? I tried to find it a few days ago and couldn't.
I'm very happy with mine, and I'm saving for a super telephoto lense.
Right now I have the Canon 300 mm telephoto lense and added a Tamron
teleconverter adding about 300 mm more. But that's still not enough for eagles. :soar:

I am so envious you guys!!
I have the Canon 10D - ancient compared to yours
My boss has the 30D and I'm waiting for him to get the 50D and retire the 30D (to me  )
Congrats Ian!! You'll have a blast!!

Chat used to be AFATT ( All Fun All The Time )

Sadly that's not so anymore.

I thought some of you would like to know that the

IWS Eagle Forum has an ignore button...

Oh man, would I ever love to have that here :<::
Edit: I'm just now catching up with you all, so please forgive me!
