I wanted a Prius but until my kids are all grown it has to be a car big enough to fit all the kids I always have in my car! As soon as that day comes I will get a Prius though. Until then I will be in my Expedition |

Well I didn't make it to the beach to search for whales at lunch (my stomach won out over my curiosity), but I did see a Peregrine Falcon on my walk - that's two days in a row now! He was perched in the same dead tree as yesterday and let me approach to within 30 feet. We regarded each other for quite a long time before he leisurely lifted off and soared away over the lagoon. ![]() photo by beakspeak I didn't take this but it looks almost exactly like the one I saw, even the tree! |

Well, it wasn't a whale, but a beautiful falcon. He seems to know you're one of the good people, and love the raptors. |

Why does a vulture have a wingbling? Are they endangered somewhere or are they just studying them for some reason? Seems like we have tons of them here....but perhaps not everywhere? |
