I wanted a Prius but until my kids are all grown it has to be a car big enough to fit all the kids I always have in my car! As soon as that day comes I will get a Prius though. Until then I will be in my Expedition

Well I didn't make it to the beach to search for whales at lunch (my stomach won out over my curiosity), but I did see a Peregrine Falcon on my walk - that's two days in a row now! He was perched in the same dead tree as yesterday and let me approach to within 30 feet. We regarded each other for quite a long time before he leisurely lifted off and soared away over the lagoon.

I didn't take this but it looks almost exactly like the one I saw, even the tree!

Well, it wasn't a whale, but a beautiful falcon. He seems to know you're one of the good people, and love the raptors.

I am always so far away from my birds that it is hard to get them sharp.. but loved the talons on the perched Osprey... he was just letting go to take off....

Why does a vulture have a wingbling? Are they endangered somewhere or are they just studying them for some reason? Seems like we have tons of them here....but perhaps not everywhere?
