WOW! That's the BIGGEST Ray I have ever seen. I'd love to know the details on ex: weight, length, width. That must have won the Pool that day!

The church bells are ringing here in Pasadena and looks like it is going to be a warm and sunny day for DS before he flies back to Montreal tomorrow. Not sure what the plans are yet but will pop in and out when I can.

Glo we're all watching and worrying

you worry when the eagles don't come to the nest when you think they should
you worry when they are there and that something will show up uninvited
you worry when they are laying the eggs
you worry about the eggs
you worry about the hatching
you worry about the babies
you worry about the food
you worry about the fledging
you worry if they don't come back to say good bye
you worry while they are being juveniles

GEEZ now I know why I have grey hairs...... :o

so we can worry together can't we :Hugs:

Gee, this description fits me to a "T"!!! It makes you wonder why we get so much pleasure out of watching, doesn't if????

K-26 just left but she did that too Wednesday. Guess she wants a little flight time before she gets down to serious business.

:)^ Good morning to all my new friends. Up early to check out PH. Welcome to all the new members. You have joined a great group of people. Can't be all that bad if they love animals. LOL. Getting ready to make green eggs and ham for breakfast. Grandson brought home Dr. Seuss from school yesterday. Take care all, and have a great weekend. <3 eagleaddict

This week at all the school it's Dr. Seuss week in honor of his birthday. I have a lot of fun stuff planned for the kinders, which is the group I do my group time with every day.

Theodor Seuss Geisel (pronounced /ˈgaɪzəl/; March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was an American writer and cartoonist, most widely known for his children's books written under his pen name, Dr. Seuss. He published over 60 children's books, which were often characterized by imaginative characters, rhyme and frequent use of trisyllabic meter. His most notable books include the bestselling Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. Numerous adaptations of his work have been created, including eleven television specials, three feature films and a Broadway musical.

Geisel also worked as an illustrator for advertising campaigns, most notably for Flit and Standard Oil, and as a political cartoonist for PM, a New York City magazine. During World War II, he worked in an animation department of the U.S Army, where he wrote Design for Death, a film that later won the 1947 Academy Award for Documentary Feature.

Linda - I think my earlier "worry" post fits most all of us  :P

Karen yes we saw lots of references to Dr. Seuss in our research of things to see and do on our upcoming trip - I didn't know!

I've been working on the PH web page on the IWS site all morning. I've modified it now so that there is a clock underneath so everyone will be on nest time, although I'm not sure how it will work with people that seem to have much delayed video feeds.  I've enlarged the image a bit and you can now right click on the image to go to full screen. I'll add the clock to the other cams tonight.

in case you didn't see in NO

Looks like most of us are watching the nests... K-26 was doing some tail movements like she did with the first egg... up and down, up and down.. and some small sounds from her as well.... I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't have a second egg in there...she is settled down again and picking up soft, mossy stuff and putting it all around her... :soar: :X:
