Good Afternoon, just wanted to say hi. I'm off to Costco to get some new sunglasses, spaced out my favorite pair. I'll check in later, see the PH and TH nests are coming along. Incubate, Incubate!

I hope everything is Ok with Andie. I miss her. Carole, I am so enjoying your pond visitor pictures. I'm somewhat envious though. Just snow and ice here. . . |

Hello, Fellow Nest Watchers! Been watching the PH pair since last Sunday, I DID get to see K26 lay her first egg! Had the nest view up at work on the sly-it was hard not to react, because I was in my cubicle and didn't want my co-workers to know I was watching them. What a moment that was! Wanted to jump up and cheer but couldn't! I refer to this pair around the house affectionately as "George" & "Martha", and they are so dedicated and sweet. And as someone else said earlier, when you're at work and can't watch, you can come here in the evenings and see all that happened, complete with photos and videos. Really appreciate that! I'm down here near where Spirit & Skye were treated last year, and it's WARM here, so maybe it's warm up on the islands today as well. I notice they're swapping their nest duty quite frequently today. I've listened to that crashing sound a few times, and I think it was just a tree branch giving way. You can hear the crack of it breaking and then it falls. Probably just a natural event that happens from time to time out there. It's good to be back, and here's hoping for another egg, and healthy chicks for all the nesting pairs this year! Wendy |

Dave...K10 and K26 had their first eaglet in 2006, A49 Cruz...hence our name the Cruzers...and they had A63, Limuw (now over the Rainbow Bridge) in 2007, 2008 was A64, Spirit, and A65, Skye (now over the Rainbow Bridge). George Ken just saw 5-9 by Monday! More the following weekend! Car is much cleaner, but not perfect the way I would want it. I'll take care of it this Summer. Maria had a Tornado at 10 this morning, lift the roof off the house across the street from her! She and the children are ok. They went into the hallway. She called my sister, and she's ok too. No damage to her property either! |

yeah KYW1060 just said 3-6" just in time for the monday am rush hour, I may be forced to treck through the snow after lunch in order to make my appointment to have the staples taken out of my leg. Since this doctor only sees patients at the radnor office on mondays, i have wondered what could happen if they cant be taken out until March 9th? This is one problem when a doctor floats between several offices for the same hospital chain. I wonder if they can be taken out by myself if absoultely necessary?? |
