They are sitting on egg again, guess they were just "airing the stink out", as my Grandmother use to say as she pushed us out the door.

It was at least 82 here in Pasadena today so it is probably pretty warm where the Channel Island nests are too.

Just got home. I'm cooking a pork tenderloin tonight with cooked cabbage and mashed potatoes. :Yum:

Laurie ~ so sorry you are hurting. Hope it was a good race! Guess I'm going to have to do what a lady at work did. She signed on to their website (I think there is a subscription somewhere in there). But maybe I could see the races the day after when time permits.

Love the Hornby Wiggle!

Back to the kitchen.....

Bout time #10 got home! She called for him about 4 times  He called to her from a distance once but didn't come home. Then they were both very vocal when he got there. I could just hear her scolding him for being late and he saying "lay off, woman! I was just having a few fish with the boys!" rofl rofl

A few of us went to Cachuma Lake for the day of Eagle Watching. We were in luck, we saw one, just starting to get the white head. We saw many Osprey's, Heron's, Red Tail Hawks and Common Loons, and deer on the hillside. The boat holds 40 there were about 10 of us aboard. Room to do our thing. Lala, SaraOh and Kathie (Iggle) took fablous photo's, which I'm sure they'll share, and will be incredible. Mine, not so much, my little pink Sony, but I'm posting a few. The specks in the blue sky are the Bald Eagle and the Osprey.

About 3-Year Old Bald Eagle in Flight - I know he looks like a speck. But really, it's a bald eagle.

The other's photo's will be fabulous, just thought I would post my little pink camera pics.

Oh MY! Harsh harsh conditions for Mom and Dad eagle tonight. They are strong but we all will fret for them and that precious hatching egg. Hope it takes its time, sweet thing.
