Just want to let you know that tomorrow is the day dh is having his prostate removed. Thoughts, prayers and candles will all be appreciated. I will check in tomorrow night and let you know how it goes. The doctor will let me know right after surgery whether or not there is a visible indication of cancer spreading beyond the prostate. With the information he has to this point, he thinks it is unlikely, but possible.

I so appreciate all the love and support I have found in this forum.

That poor eagle looks like he/she has had some feather damage... wish some of the young eagles would stay at the lake through the year... there is one adult pair that stay year round... Naturalist didn't want to get too close to the nesting birds so photo taken from quite a distance.

That would have been an excellent question Peppermint... maybe it is and it will stay with parents near the lake.. sure lots of room for everyone...

VICKI Thank you for your :clk: --please don't ever feel bad about pictures---they are all good, whether near or far. Sounds like you all had a fabulous day and you will have beautiful osprey, hawks and eagle wings in your mind's eye, when you lay you head down on your pillow tonight---you should have sweet, sweet dreams. :)^

One should never feel bad showing off their photos.!!! :clk: Some of us may become inspired or have a lightbulb suddenly appear over our heads with an idea how we should take a shot.

Personally, In going thru some of the oodles of old photos ive shot over the years it is rather rewarding to see how our photo skills have improved over time. In hindsight i am often asking myself "Why did i take this shot?" Or a shot that i really liked years ago and thought it to be one of my best makes me think years later "geez that shot really is crappy, why did i even keep this monstrosity"

Just food for thought for those who may be dissapointed with their photo skills. Trust me by shooting and screwing up we all learn and our skills both the technical and the compostional do improve :)^
