Hi all...Off to see the circus soon...DS has been doing some electrical work for them while they have been in our area so he got us some good seats. I have tried to keep up with the forum for the last 3-4 days but seem to have missed the part regarding Hula's mom being in the hospital. Does anyone know how long Beverly has been hospitalized or what her condition is. I don't mean to pry if this info is only known to a few...just concerned as I once was a daughter with a mom in the hospital. Love Felix, mtallent...I once had him walking back and forth on my wallpaper until DH said it was too distracting. Chiquita |

Chiquita it's not Hula's mom - it's Trish's mom ....she's been for a little while and had some procedures done ..... she's quite ill! Hi Zach it's clouding up - still waiting for that snow - but of course it will hit george first! Hey Paula any of it coming your way???Just had Animal Planet on and the show was about how birds hunt - one showed a type of heron throwing a bread crumb he had found (I swear) into the water to attract the fish and then he'd pounce on them and have for lunch - amazing!Another showed a raven near a nest of a small bird (forgot the name - darn) - mom alerted dad and he flew over Mr. Raven sitting on the ground and pooped on him - that's there defense. Dad was quickly followed by mom who luckily pooped right in Mr. Raven's mouth - he was gagging! After a few more fly by "shots" Mr. Raven moved on and decided those hatchlings in that nest weren't worth the trouble! Amazing! |

Well, honestly other than to wash the road salt off to me the important thing isnt the looks but if the car has passed inspection, starts when you turn the key and is able to stop when applying the brakes! In an old book, it was said that the millionaire next door isnt that flashy middle aged man in the latest from brooks brothers with the fancy new mercedes every other year but he is the guy down the street who wears his overalls to work each day carrying a lunch pail in his older model buick. Strange as that may sound, its always fascinating to read in some paper that 90 yr old mrs Name who was a secretary, retired teacher or grocery strore clerk died and left her many million dollar estate to some person, group or charity she thought highly of. In some ways its sad to see that they never really enjoyed their wealth but then its great to see how sucessfull they were much to what many would have thought. |

Cute putty tat! They all think they are the lion in the jungle. Its amazing to see a cat stalk their prey. whether its a lion stalking a wildebeast or our basic house cat stalking that pesky mouse their mannerisms are rather similar. This part of nature is amazing when one sees similar traits in species from the same family. |

CONGRATULATIONS Karen. Happiness is being a Grandmother. Load them up with sugar, and give them back! The course works as Bill Cosby says.
