The race will be starting soon. Hmmmmm I wonder if Matt Kenseth can make it three in a row. :)^ :D

Trish, keeping you and your mom and family in my thoughts and prayers. <3

Just canceled all the patient's for tomorrow. There is no way they are coming out in this Weather. They won't come out in three inches let alone 14! Some were sick with the Flu, head Colds, and the Lower G.I thing. Looks like I'll be all alone in the Office again tomorrow. sigh.

Just had Animal Planet on and the show was about how birds hunt - one showed a type of heron throwing a bread crumb he had found (I swear) into the water to attract the fish and then he'd pounce on them and have  >>:  for lunch - amazing!

Another showed a raven near a nest of a small bird (forgot the name - darn) - mom alerted dad and he flew over Mr. Raven sitting on the ground and pooped on him - that's there defense.  Dad was quickly followed by mom who luckily pooped right in Mr. Raven's mouth - he was gagging!  After a few more fly by "shots" Mr. Raven moved on and decided those hatchlings in that nest weren't worth the trouble! Amazing!

Thanks for the wing up, Harpo! :)^ We found it and have it set to record at 3pm.

Jann - we ate our late lunch during the show so I "taped" it to watch a bit later! Turned it on by accident and it really was quite interesting! Hope you enjoy!

Killing for a Living
Flight to the Death
TV-PG, CC

Hunting birds are the most powerful and accomplished predators of the sky, each species employing its own method to obtain their meals. Hooded beaks, lethal talons, and superb eyesight are just a few of the natural weapons in their deadly arsenal.

Nope guess he couldn't make it three in a row. He's crashed and out of the race. :(

With eggs on all 3 nests, we've had a few questions about the term "Hornby Wiggle" - a term we use frequently in NW. It originated with the famous Hornby eagles....... the first pair that many of our forum members watched. All eagles do a wiggle when settling down on their eggs.....some more than others. Dad Hornby & K10 are two of the best. In case you're not sure what it is, here's a video I did 2 years ago of K10 doing the Hornby Wiggle. These are all done by K10 on the same day.

The music was written & performed by a friend of mine.
