Hi Peeps! OK, first tell me why I can't insert a smilie into my post? Is this the latest ploy by Uncle Sam to make my forum viewing as bland as possible??? I click and click, but no smilie appears. Hmmmmm... As usual, I'm the last one to post pictures from any event and I don't have many. As you know, a few of us went on a little cruise of Lake Cachuma yesterday and saw this juvenile eagle as well as lots of other wildlife. Due to a series of technical difficulties I am left with very few of the hundreds of shots I took. Here is the link to the Picasa album for the ones I was able to salvage - Cachuma Pix |

I guess, you won't have a snow day tomorrow then. Hope you're having a great day. Hope to see you more on the forum.

Joanie -- Oh, we know Hannah Rose's parents are going to bring her up right -- She's got a panda for a friend! Adorable picture. Such a happy girl. I'm trying to work something out to make it somewhere for a Cruzer gathering. As you know, the weeknights are pretty difficult, but I'm looking at maybe the March 27 and April 5 get togethers. I would love to meet you all at the Sacred Door on the 19th, but I have class that night.

You can't believe how many really good photos I lost between camera & computer glitches. Hey - the smilie worked that time! What's up with that - speaking of technical issues... |

Kathie those are really great pics So sorry you lost so many I loved the eagle ones but I especially like this one I thought you said you were on a boat ride.... but this one looks like you took it out of an airplane window.

Honestly Penny, there were no airplanes involved. But, it sure looks like it, and it was from a boat.

I think I am surprised Zachary because you seem so mature for your age and you have very good manners. You definitely are very likeable and have the right attitude to go places in your life. I do believe your parents could take some credit for that too

That is the million dollar question. Ive had headaches since a newly diagnosed diabetic. Consider the headaches from the fluctions in the sugar, add into the mix bad allergies with a few nose jobs too and then the brain tumor that while benign could have been there for years and its hard for me to say. However only after the tumor removal were the nausea and the sensitivity to movement more pronounced. Personally in looking back, i would suspect that i had had them too since i was a child |

Since I think Petra really did go to bed, I'll just say that we went into that issue on the forum sometime in either December or January George. It is so true that the lack of enough sunlight can really cause serious depression in some people. I also mentioned to her that she should probably consider taking Vitamin D through the winter months too. Don't know if she did that though because she apparently has a gag reflex that prevents her from swallowing pills

IGGLE/KATHIE--Love your photos of the big trip you all had yesterday at Lake Cachuma---especially the BlueHerons in their nests, the grebes and your captures of the Juvie in flight What amazing events at Blackwater nest!---I have been gone all day and have just caught up to see the sweet little . All of last night, we were so concerned about the parents and their eggs in that snow storm--it was heartbreaking! And lo and behold--look what happened during this snowstorm! And a big fat fish besides, delivered to the nest! My goodness, these amazing Eagles inspire, they sure are made up of the RIGHT STUFF! Fantastic--that we have these Cams all around North America, so we can witness these wonders. |
