OWL CAM--- I was looking in on Mom owl and her chicks a little while ago and she was feeding them. I was reading the comments posted to see how many have hatched so far. On page 15 comments, they said there are 4 hatched. Still time for remainder to hatch, as she laid them so far apart. It is interesting reading the comments of the 'nest observers'. Surprising was an entry that Papa is with her, even again tonight. My goodness, as we learn, each species in the bird world, sure have different behavior.

HI Carole, Have not talked to you for ages. Isn't it eggciting to have eggs again, and soon be watching a whole new group of eaglets come into the world! Marsha P.S. How are things in Toronto? |

That was neat! Thanks for the heads-up. I thought I saw 5 babies, but maybe only 4. It's nice to have some birds to look at after the sun sets, huh? I haven't been on Chat a lot recently...just busy, busy, busy. But the new eggs are wonderful, and I'm so grateful for all of the captures and the videos so I can check in each night after w**k! I hope all the Easties are ok with all the snow. Linda, so glad to hear DH's surgery went well. George, hope you're recovering quickly. Just bought my tickets for a trip to CA, but sorry to say that none of my dates will coincide with the upcoming festivities. Have a good night.

If you all have not gone over to N.O. to see PAT's videos of WE---on page 13--they are a hoot! especially the second one of the "food delivery-switch-the stick". I am still giggling over the goings on in that one. Nice way to head off to bed after a good laugh--- THANK YOU AGAIN PAT---IT IS A SHOW STOPPER! |

Karen - Just watched the owl video - after I got back in my chair. When the parent charged right over the cam to exit the burrow it looked like it was coming right out of the screen! 'Bout gave me a heart attack! Cute little gray cheepy blobs though.... Good night - I'm headed that way myself.... |
