well there's a guy down the street w/small tractor and blower and he does his area and our next door neighbor (who has an adult healthy sonwho could do it) and doesn't bother with any of the others who really need the help. I mean geez - it's a gallon of gas and time behind the machine! Not like you have to shovel or anything!

People have helped me many times when I was in need and regardless - I'm all about paying it forward! :BX:

anyway awesome photo Lala

Deb, me too. I like to acknowledge when someone does something nice for me. Last week one of the girls here took over my mail duties for me, after my PT session. I went down to do it and she was already on the job, nice. So the next day I brought in a pretty scented candle for her and put it in her mailbox saying thank you. ( I was going to put chocolate kisses in the bag too, but I don't share chocolate too well  :Sh: Shhhhhhhh I have a sneaky stash in the frozen spinach box in the freezer at home)

My next door neighbor, helps me out when DH is working with plowing when we have a lot of snow. So I make a couple of pumpkin rolls a couple times for him during the snow season.

Just a couple things. Has anyone been over to Buddy's nest? They have triplets this year!

Second, are we going to name the chicks again this year and if so when will we start picking names?

Deb - You and Gary are the best neighbours, so kind and considerate. We are the same way with our neighbours back home and they are always there when we need them.

Heather - No chicks yet at Norfolk only 3 eggs.

We don't name the chicks until they are several weeks old and have developed a personality of their own. We have a long time to go, we only have eggs and perhaps more eggs may be laid soon. Incubation can be up to 35 days.

I know, I should have been more specific that they have 3 eggs.

I can't wait to start naming chicks this year. This will be the first time I get to help choose. I will just sit here and be patient! :<::

Dawn, in addition to being an eagleholic, I'm a graphoholic. Some of them I make, some I've gotten from friends and some are shared by other graphoholics. I've been making and collecting for years.

Peetie why are you down sweetie.  You have a New kitty to look after and soon you will have Sjimmie too!  Cheer up sweetie.

George must be out shoveling, taking pictures, or making Snow Angels. I it snowing here like there is no tomorrow.

No actually, ive been asleep. For some warped reason i was up unti the ungodly hour of about 4am. At that point, i figured what the heck, I'll stay up until my doctor's office opens at 830 to call and reschedule the appointment.

Then I fell asleep for a couple of hours.

While i cancelled the doc this afternoon, i was told i could see him tomorrow at his office at the hospital where he did my surgery in west philly tomorrow. I am very tempted but it is supposed to be a warm 24 degrees tomorrow for the high and a low tonight of only 8. As i have to hoof from the house to the bus stop, I am concerned about ice along my walk of about 20mins on a good day. The person i spoke with at my doctors office said they would ask the doc and call me back later this afternoon. If the roads have been relatively plowed i could consider trekking into philly tommorow. If not and the doc says its ok to leave them in for what will be 17 days, i will wait until monday next week. I shall however remain open to any suggestions he gives me.

The snow now seems to be subsiding slightly and it appears brighter outside so perhaps the sun will poke through to help melt the stuff. Still its only about 20 degrees out with a wind chill of 4 degrees. Radio says snow is moving out of the region and should end in a couple of hours.

So, as of now i am bone doc limbo and dont want to go out in the cold even tgo shoot some images. Only other productive task ive done today has been to grab the gear i want for the flower show/hockey game, clean the lenses and get my "grab-n-go" bag ready for wednesday's get together with you for some bloomin fun. :D :clk:

WOW!! You are awesome Eagle D. That is a great and handy talent. I had to get up and do some dreaded housework so that when my DH came home from work today he would know he still needs me. LOL Kids too!!

I am so glad the blackwater chick is fine. What a time to hatch.
