I must've missed this when PP posted it. Thanks for re-posting it, Jill. I notice this is just good for tomorrow night (Mar. 4th), in case anyone is interested in participating. I see Yolanda's right by my house is doing it so suddenly Wednesday sounds like a good night for tacos! :D

I posted it for her, but didn't want to take credit for it! :D

Thanks Marie and Carole  :Hugs:
I have a large family in Germany, and unfortunately, I'm always stressed when I'm there, running from one aunts house to another   (and God forbid I forget to visit one of them  rofl  )

Oh yeah i know the feeling. I was en route back from Sweden and spent about 3 days in london. While i have one very distant relation in london that i did see, the us reations really heard from the rest over there about me not stopping by. Thought i had started word war three with that fiasco. In hindsight, i would have been better off not even contacting my dads cousin and just remained incognito.

LOL George!! I always tell my mom to keep it a secret when I'm coming, so I can just spend time with her, but, she's afraid of the family once they find out I was there and she didn't tell them rofl rofl

iggle: you didn't miss it...I had Jill post it for me as I received it in an email and didn't know how to transfer it to here. Looks like a good cause and good excuse to go out midweek.

Works for me - and a cause close to my heart with my stepmom dying from it....

I have loved all the talk of Germany, I am from a German settled town called Cullman. My grandfather was a carpenter and built most of the early houses/buildings. It's a lovely town and I still have family there. My mother's maiden name was Brunner.

I going to Jaimen's baseball practice, so will catch up with ya'll later.

Weinner Snitzell to ya!! rofl

Yes Patti, we try to do several "big" get-togethers, but it's hard to get everybody in one spot at the same time, as they are spread far and wide throughout Germany

I wish I could Peetie, but I don't think I'll be able to get the free time that I need. I will only be there 12 days (13 with travel time). But I will look up where and how far Schiphol is.

Good thing it's a small country then. My grandmother was German...Yost...and we have Blums and Messersmiths, too. But she didn't speak German that I know of...not sure exactly when that side of the family came over here but goes back a ways...midwest farmers and ohhhhhhhhh the FOOD she would cook!!
