Hooray Paula!

Robin - I particularly liked the part: "Institute for Wildlife Studies biologists, along with committed web cam viewers, will continue to monitor the nest as the parents take turns rolling and sitting on the egg during the approximately 35-day incubation period. "

do you think we've got it covered ;)

Andie, sounds like your back problems are being narrowed down and soon you'll be on the road to recovery.

As for me, the first two injections did not do anything for me at all. However according to my MRI, I have a protrusion on my L4 disc that's pressing on the L5 nerve. So I have a second round of injections scheduled on on the 11th. This time they will put the injections in the L4 - L5 area instead of the saccral nerve joint.

PT is going fairly well. Ha ok so I'm lieing a little bit. It's been a bit painful. These are exercises that I will have to do the rest of my life, which I will, I don't ever want to be in this kind of pain again!! I just have to be patient and try to find a happy place to go to while I do the exercises for now. Last night I wanted to :'( all night.

A falcon visit on the Maine nest site this morning:

I know exactly how you are feeling even with the PT :'( After my 3rd session, I was laid up in bed for 5 days and did nothing but :'( I went 2 more times and I quit. I just couldn't do it. It hurt me so bad and no pain killers helped :'( So I didn't bother taking them and I quit PT.

And your right, now that they are narrowing it down, I can find some relief. I'd love to be able to walk. I can walk around the house and thats it. I can't go to the grocery store, or nothin. I feel like a prisoner sometimes. I'd give anything to be able to walk my dog around the block ya know. It makes me mad sometimes :D

Cannot finish catching up on all the Chat and N.O. for today, so far, have to run for several hours. Only got thru page 2 of Chat.

LINDA- I hope you were able to get a decent night's sleep last night and that your DH is having a better day in the post-op process. Thinking of you.

Andie I know exactly what you are saying. There's a light at the end of the tunnel for you. Keep the faith. :Hugs:

So I wonder why they didn't do the dye when they did your MRI??

Hi, Vicki! :}^ Loved reading about your trip to Cachuma. You're becoming the "4 Queen." Getty 4, Cachuma 4 . . .

Andie, nothing much new with me. Just the normal everyday stuff with me. I keep checking on airfares to China though. I need a panda fix! :X:

Deb, I liked that part, too. I also liked how they referred to A64 as "Spirit." <3

OMG, Andie! I just read your post about your MRI! I'm glad there is no damage to the spine, but it has got to be so frustrating for you not to know the cause of your pain. I'm one of those people who don't like to resort to doing just pain management. I want to know the cause of the problem, and then let's fix the problem, not just put a bandaid on it. I hope you get your answers soon. :X:
