Thanks for that correction Lori I've changed my post to reflect that The Maine eagles have a much better nesting season this year they sure deserve it.

Zach - WE exhibits all symptons of 2 eggs...they have been sitting on the nest faithfully...but no one has been able to get a glimpse of 2 eggs yet! |

Thanks for the info Paula! All the more reason to watch the nests more intently! Hopefully we get a good look at the egg(s)! Oh, out of curiosity, what is the average number of eggs that a bald eagle lays? I always thought it was 2 or 3, but I just want to make sure. |

Thank you Janna! And excellent report Dr. Sharpe! I wish I was more informed on Bald Eagles, because I don't know half of what everyone is talknig about. I have an essay I need to finish by monday, and I haven't started it yet! Despite how nice I am here, I'm not too friendly to homework. I usually wait till the last minute. Anyone care to do it for me? |

My favorite driver is Lewis Hamilton: ![]() Now that's a REAL race car driver - none of this NASCAR nonsense I guess I'm a bit of a snob as far as auto racing goes but I just can't take NASCAR that seriously. To get behind the wheel of an F1 car and drive those tracks requires the ultimate skill in a driver - on the other hand I'd be willing to bet that with an intense enough training program you could get a chimp to sit in that cockpit and hold the wheel left for 500 laps. Perhaps the chimp would have trouble avoiding other cars, but then again as soon as somebody loses control there's a usually 20 car pileup so the humans aren't that great at it either.

WOW what a day! Went to The Philadelphia Flower Show with George this morning and he had a ball. What a sweet man he is. We walked all over the Show and saw many beautiful flowers, and plants. There were several outstanding displays. I haven't walked so much in years. I'm afraid I pooped out on Gorge. Just could take another step. He took a lot of pictures but is going to a hockey Game tonight. Maybe by tomorrow he will have the pictures ready toPOst. What a day!] |
